With summer here, kids out of school and pools open the risk of drowning has come around again. While watching CNN Newsroom they showed a story about a 10 year old child that drowned about 2 hours after he left the pool. I think there was a trace of water still in his lungs that he must have ingested while in the pool. From what they were saying it seems like he didnt show any signs of problems but he did soil his pants which is pretty unusual for a 10 year old but still it happens (The reporters on CNN says this could have been a sign that oxygen wasn't getting to his brain) and he was able to walk home on his own. So once he reached home he took a nap and his mother found him with blue lips and his tounge sticking out and his cause of death is said to be of dry drowning.
I never heard of this type of drowning before but it is something to be aware of if your child(ren) frequent the pools this summer. I dont have any kids but I dont know what I woud do if this was to happen to one of nieces or nephews

I was looking in the sky and I believe I seen the ISS. Was it flashing? because I seen something speed by the flashing lights and I thought maybe that was it and then I remembered the space shuttle was visible also. Wish i had high power binoculars, but regardless it was very interesting
