Why are we at war??

Why are we at war?? After we caught Saddam and after we exucated him we are still at war. I am thinking it has to with their goverment!! In the sense that they dont have a centeral goverment. I mean to say is that get is what to be down and get out. If they someone to dictact the country than find someone!! We caught Saddam almost 3 years ago. It takes that long its carzy.. Hearing everyday that a person is dead because of a road side bomb or a sucide bomber or maybe a bomb left in a car and than blows. I mean where is peace when you need it. Just think 10 or 20 years later if we need help from that conutry they are going to rebel on us. I know it was a good thing that Saddam has been exucated. Than to some people it was a big mistake!!! What is the point of this war?? I would love to know!! My dad is in the Army, and I asked him and he said it was no reason to stay after we caught Saddam. Maybe we are there to keep the Goverment in shape.

THE REASON IS ...SO BUSH AND HIS FRIENDS CAN MAKE DOLLARS . IRAQ ONCE HAD THE HIGHEST STANDARD OF LIVING IN THE MID EAST . NOW LOOK AT THE PLACE ... AT FIRST BUSH SAID W.M.D. S . NONE FOUND ...THAT FOOL HASN'T A CLUE HOW TO EXIT THE MESS HE HAS MADE AND SEEMS NOT TO CARE THAT YOUNG MEN AND WOMEN IN THE MILITARY ARE DYING ... THE IRAQI PEOPLE ARE LIKE DUST IN THE WIND ( PAWNS ) TO WHAT END I CANNOT SEE . WHAT A MESS .

Lets take a look at a couple of important items you and minnie me must have missed.

Chronicle of the atrocities committed by Saddam Hussein:
Hussein's regime killed, tortured, raped and terrorized the Iraqi people and its neighbors for over two decades.
Hundreds of thousands of people died as a result of Saddam's actions.
Saddam had approximately 40 of his own relatives murdered.
1980-88: Iran-Iraq war left 150,000 to 340,000 Iraqis and 450,000 to 730,000 Iranians dead.
1983-1988: Documented chemical attacks by Iraqi regime caused some 30,000 Iraqi and Iranian deaths.

1987-1988: Iraqi regime used chemical agents in attacks against at least 40 Kurdish villages.

I bet those Kurds were easily as happy as the Hebrew children way back when, don't you think?

Yah- I believe you are engaged in revisionist history. To lay this entirely on "bush's need for profit" denies the 8 years of overflights and bombing raids under the previous administration because Sadaam claimed he posessed weapons of mass distruction. This was not a 1 party decision in 2003. Who is it that deserted the decisions they made while our troops are still in the field?

It prolly looks like I am pickin on Yah, but Nah, I'm not. I just cannot let anyone fire off stuff about stuff they know nuttin about. President Bush has made his share of mistakes but what people try to hang on him about the war shows an incredible amount of ignorance. Most people only know what they read or hear and they let their emotions control them. If we knew or had access to the information that he has then we would have a different opinion I am sure.

I am going to school to become a doctor. so if anyone needs help ask the doc. Look out Houston I might be able to help you some time.. living day by day and making through high school. After a while I will go carzy!! I have been living here for 9 years!! I always wanted to be on T.V. and see how it feels like!!! Someday My wish will (maybe) come true!!!
