I make it a point not to pick up hitch-hikers under any circumstance. But I might leave you a gallon of water so you didn't dehydrate waiting for someone to pick you up. The question is, would you actually hitch-hike?

No I don't think I would ever hitch-hike, only in an extremely dire situation. Even then I would be very careful.

This is a really funny picture....No I would never pick up a hitchhiker unless I knew them really well....Seen to many scary movies...LOL great Pic SC!

Well I for one, HAD to hitchhike one day. I was in South Dakota for work, and had driven from Omaha, NE to Sioux City, IA. Stayed the night, then crossed the border into SC, SD. Was with my Japanese counterpart, and we drove to a meeting up in Sioux Falls, SD. On the way back to Sioux City, we ran out of gas (I know, stupid me for not being more careful), but anyway, there I was, on the side of the highway, in January with the snow blowing and a wind chill of 28 below zero. If it had not been for the kind gentleman that picked us up and gave us a ride to the nearest gas station (7 miles away)... we would have frozen to death. Glad y'all live here and not in SD LOL
