Last weekend I went to San Antonio and while driving I went through several radar traps.  Now when I was younger, I used to give approaching traffic the 'warning' signal.  (Flashing lights on and off, or from bright to dim several times)  As years have passed, the speeders have gotten crazier and the speeds much higher so I no longer warn traffic.  If you are 10 miles over or less, you won't even get stopped.  The cops are now looking for that speeder that is driving really fast.  I think if someone is going 90 or more, they probably need to be stopped.  What do you think?  Do you warn other traffic about radar traps, or do you let them fend for themselves?  My trouble is that I'd like to warn some, but not necessarily all of the speeders.

I think if they are really hauling butt they need to pay the piper. If they (the cops) see you warning the other's you can get ticketed. I say let them go. If they are nuts enough to go 20mph over or more they need to be stopped.
My brother-in law is a cop and he only stops the ones that are 15 to 20 mph over. Unless it's a school zone. Then you are all on your own. I never have that problem. I watch my speed.

Gottaluvit, I would have to agree with you. Some need to be stopped. If your brother in law gave everyone a ticket for being over, he would never get done. Yes, you seem to have a good grasp on the situation. Run for something, I'll vote for you.

Hi, I'm Michael the skyfox photographer. I'm a lucky guy who gets to fly around Houston every day and cover different news stories. Interests include classic cars, motorcycles, and just doing fun stuff. If you should have any suggestions about what you would like to see from the air, please let me know. Until then, I'll be watching from above.
