Usually when we fly in the morning, I only get to communicate with the anchors by the 'up and down' and 'right and left' motion of the camera.  Its fun to do when the answer requires a 'yes' or 'no' answer.  This morning was cool though, because I actually got to talk with them.  Don and Matt (reporter and pilot) were both off this morning so I 'got the call'.  It was fun because accidents were 'few'.  We'll see how it goes tomorrow.  If you were watching this morning, thanks.

I was watching when they requested a shot of the studio while you were over the West Loop. Great job swinging that camera around from Williams Tower and centering the shot on the building before they went into a commercial break! It was cool to see the studio from your vantage point!

Fly, talk, camera, you are a multitasker!

Stormchaser and texasex, thanks for watching and weighing in on what was a 'full' morning show for me. On finding the station, I've done that a few times when we weren't on the air, so I figured I could pull that shot off. I was trying to get the station in the shot before the shot was done. It was a relief when I saw it come into frame. That would be multitasking Texasex, but I left the flying to our back-up pilot Tom. Beilieve me, camera and talking are enough to deal with. If it all would've fallen apart, I would've blamed it on 'Thin Air'.....Keep watching!

Palloca, yes, we were doing a "Do you know Houston?" kind of thing for a while, and I want to take some more pictures and post them so people can take a guess at where the location is. Things take a different 'look' when your flying over, and even if you think you know your city well, it just looks a little different from the air. I'll get some more pics soon.

Hi, I'm Michael the skyfox photographer. I'm a lucky guy who gets to fly around Houston every day and cover different news stories. Interests include classic cars, motorcycles, and just doing fun stuff. If you should have any suggestions about what you would like to see from the air, please let me know. Until then, I'll be watching from above.
