I guess if my dog can do it, we all can 'Stop and Smell the Roses'.  This is Ollie, a 160lb. Golden Retriever.  He really does like the flowers, and Pecans.(  I can't peel them fast enough for him.)  He also loves getting a bath.  Anyone out there have a dog that likes weird things or acts a little strange?

If my dogs have a choice, they prefer to drink out of the swimming pool versus their water bowl.

When I put down lawn food earlier this year, they decided that it would be great stuff to eat. So I had to bring them in...

Whenever I do something to the yard, I usually have to put him inside and have someone distract him.(otherwise he sits at the window and watches what I do) That way when he comes back out, his curiosity doesn't take him to the part of the yard I was working in. It usually works but they are smart animals aren't they. Sometimes they'll find just what you don't want them to find. Oh well.....

My dog is pyscho. He is afraid of...Laser pointers. Those blinking lights on shoes.
Cameras. The vacuum. The hair dryer. The dishwasher. The blinking light up cups we got at Rainforest Cafe last month. The computer.
The automatic car wash..the last time we went through one he tried to squeeze his 74 pound body under my seat.
Please keep in mind that by all things logical, he should be a nuisance to society as he is part Rottweiler, part Chow, part German Shepherd, and part Golden retriever. He's not afraid to stand on our balcony and bark at everyone who goes by, which is cool cause he IS big and SOUNDS bada**..which gets the job done.
And I don't have to worry about him biting anyone. I don't think.

I have a small pond on one side of my yard....I have an american bulldog that loves to jump in and will swim in a circle for as long as the lawnmower is going. And she loves to go diving. I love my dogs. She's not the only one. I have 5 different dogs, and they are all a little strange.

Thanks dixielee, he is a pretty dog and while I'm working in Houston, he stays in San Antonio and takes care of my mom. He's a great alarm when anyone comes in the yard. A big intimidating bark.

Hi, I'm Michael the skyfox photographer. I'm a lucky guy who gets to fly around Houston every day and cover different news stories. Interests include classic cars, motorcycles, and just doing fun stuff. If you should have any suggestions about what you would like to see from the air, please let me know. Until then, I'll be watching from above.
