My oldest made me so proud. They had her 6th grade awards today. She has one for A/B honor roll, Most improved, and for Honor choirs. She has a great looking certificate with three gold seals plus I was told she passed her reading and math TAKS. She will be a seventh grader next year.:)

I know you must be proud of her and she must be proud of herself. I have no greater joy than seeing my children succeed in life.

Skeasling,

Three cheers for Amber. You must be really proud. Continue to encourage her to do well in school.

And encourage her to ask a lot of questions in class. Many students simply don't ask enough questions.

skeasling, what a GREAT feeling! I think the children will get a sense of accomplishment as well. When my children attended my niece and nephew's high school graduation, I pointed out all the honor cords and medals... that's right, baby, I want you to look like Mr. T when you're walking across the stage!

Foehammer, I agree watching your children do well at anything... is so much fun.
