Ashley Alexandra Dupre, the call girl linked to Eliot Spitzer made more money an hour than most professional women with college degrees. if that doesn't send a bad message to young girls consider what the future apparently holds for Dupre...books, movies and recording deals that could reap her millions. I just hope young girls who look at dupre with stars and dollar signs in their eyes consider this. No amount of money can buy back your self respect.

No amount of money can buy back your self respect.

i don't agree with you.
for some it is not about self respect at all nor the money. it's about doing what you (they) want to do to make a living so they can be happy.

people tell people to find something they love to do and do it for a living to be happy.
some find sex to be what they love to do and are happy doing it in trade for money. (some even orgasm from it.)

ya gotta admit, sex is something we all like to do. even those that aren't supposed to be having sex (think catholic) are being driven to by the physical make-up of simply being human. it is a demand of gods that we procreate...it's why the drive is so high.

why is it that it becomes shameful when it is traded? it is a god given gift is it not?
i mean, i like making cookies, i like to see peope enjoy them.
if i could i'd sell them, trade them for money i would. if i had the talent to do so.
i don't know if i'd be happy doing that but it is acceptable to society for me to try it.
why is sex so different of a talent?
and, yes, sex is a talent as much as singing and cooking is.
why does this talent become something you should be ashamed of?
why can't it be something you are proud of, something you brag about? (and not in the teenage way.)
i say it is not shameful, nor degrading if the person involved is happy.
and yes, there are happy people in the sex industry. even sane ones.
hugzzz,
Rena
and, no, i'm not in the sex industry, well, i do sell a product through it but i don't consider that being what you are discussing.

one more thing, i'd like to see the sex industry become more accepted as a career choice.
what does it need to do in order to do so? what would it take for you to respect someone that told you they make a living within the sex industry?

ps, the product i sell through the sex industry is one i invented. does that make me disrespectable or a horrible person to you because i respect them for being honest about who and what they are?
i respect honesty above all else myself. if you have a better way....
hugzzz,
Rena

Hey, Randy,

I'm ready to sign a contract. Where's my $1 million deal. Oh, wait a second, I would have to have sex with some dirty old politican first. Oh, never mind. It's not worth it.

Ta da...chas' gender revealed!!!

I don't think that just because you're in the sex industry that you lack self respect. That's kind of narrow minded, don't you think?

Randy... your point is well taken. It's not that Dupre should be stoned. But potentially paid millions? Another sign our society is out of whack.

I"m sorry to say I don't condone what Ms Dupre did as right. I will say this she's a hooker a well paid one at that. She looks like a very pretty and intelegent woman but she should have found another line of work. The like of a hooker even a high dollar one is dangerous. The value of life way outweighs the price a hooker pays for her work. I guess she wanted a easy way to get money after all sex really requires no hard work at all. unlike the non hooker people in the world that actually work for a living. I'm sorry but Ms Dupree gets no feelings of pitty for her. She knew what she was doing and w/who so she gets what she deserves.

which is why i said " respect honesty above all else myself. if you have a better way....
in a perfect world, there would be places to go to learn to work within the sex industry, respectable ones, that offer honesty in teaching as well as safety in it's teachings.
if you wish to have a safe society, you must work within it's needs, wants, desires, etc...
they will do whatever it is you are fighting with them about. if you at least control it, you have a better chance of them doing it safely, sanely and with risk awareness.
you wouldn't send someone out to do a job without some sort of training...why then do we allow people to go into the sex industry without it? they can die ya know.
hugzzz,
Rena
