It has been called the finest facility for human rehabilitation on Earth. Its granite walls provide sturdy shelter for healing technology without peer. It's a place where America's physically damaged warriors can fully explore and progressively expand their potential.

Intrepid's design is high-tech. But it's also built with one clear goal in mind: get the wounded back into an active productive life. Many will enter the private sector. Some will even return to active duty service.

The facility's $40 million price tag was fully paid for by more than 500,000 Americans who reached into their pockets with gratitude for the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund.

Despite your feelings for the war, it is difficult not to recognize the human good that built The Center for the Intrepid and what happens there daily.

Share your thoughts and words of support for America's military, the people who care for them at home and abroad, and for the hundreds of thousands of citizens and organizations who donated money to create America’s newest facility for wounded warriors.
