My 17 year old son never took his school id picture before being transferred to his new school that doesn't take id pics. I went to get him a replacement ss card, but was told I needed an id card to get a replacement. I went to the dps to get an id card, but was told I needed a ss card to receive one. Now he can't get his license because of this ridiculous situation. I have provided his birth certificate and even got his school's admin to send information proving he was a student, but the ss office won't accept that as enough proof.
Does anyone know what I can do to take care of this crossed up situation? Any suggestions will help. Thanks in advance to all that respond.

First off, I love God and His son Jesus Christ! I love music and have sung in the choir (alto) since I was in elementary school. I love basketball (playing and watching it on tv), I write poetry and short stories, gospel/educational raps, play dominoes and spades, and love being with my husband of 18 years (together 21 years), our 20 year old daughter and 17 year old son. People say that I'm: crazy, fun, silly, hilarious, a great friend, smart, talented...I guess I'll stop there, you get the picture :-)
