I absolutely love, LoVe, LOVE the 80's music! Since Melinda Spaulding's Theme Song blog is so much fun, I thought about this topic. What group made you dance, sing and party to the break of dawn? A few of my favorite songs were: Your Love by The Outfield, Slow Jam by Atlantic Starr and too many more to name; groups were RunDMC, Def Leppard, Duran Duran, Whodini, New Edition, etc and favorite artist was Michael Jackson.

kimboo7, you have awesome taste in music! If you grab my iPod you'll see that 80s music dominates--everything from Adam Ant to ZZ Top! The Outfield, Def Leppard, the GoGos, Sheila E, PRINCE, and Cyndi Lauper, not to mention the Queen Madonna herself--80s music was fun and happy music.

But I'm sorry...I can't pick just one.

MAN, HIGH FIVE TO YOU ALL! I love every song mentioned. I knew this would be a good post. The 80's Rule, hands down. Thanks for the compliment mik1of3, your taste is awesome as well. Sassy, I do understand, too many to choose from. Dread-Head, 3 words for you (YOU THA MAN) I can tell we would be good friends if we ever met in person. Tia, I was attracted to my hubby because he was the only shy guy in the whole neighborhood where we were from (Studewood) and I always tell him that He's So Shy reminds me of him :-).

Thanks Sassy. Doesn't the mere thought of the 80's music just make you smile :-)
Yahyamoro, I really liked that song West End Girls too.
Now I'm thinking of Summer of '69, Electric Avenue, Boys of Summer, Broken Wings, Take On Me, etc. I was a true MTV girl of the 80's.

First off, I love God and His son Jesus Christ! I love music and have sung in the choir (alto) since I was in elementary school. I love basketball (playing and watching it on tv), I write poetry and short stories, gospel/educational raps, play dominoes and spades, and love being with my husband of 18 years (together 21 years), our 20 year old daughter and 17 year old son. People say that I'm: crazy, fun, silly, hilarious, a great friend, smart, talented...I guess I'll stop there, you get the picture :-)
