It was sooooooooo nice to see Andrea Watkins doing the newscast this morning!!  You looked BEAUTIFUL as usual Andrea-and did sooooooooooooooo well!!  I sure would love to have that beautiful complexion!!!!

So, did it feel different to be back doing a newscast again Andrea???  You need to be on there more (IMO)!!!! 

Well-other than seeing our friend PB mom on the segment--it's not something I'll watch!  (unless PB is on it)  It's not very interesting to watch several women give their "opinions".  I can get that anywhere-even while Blogging!!  I thought that by the title FAMILY MATTERS it would profile different families in the Houston area (like PB Mom and Patrick)-not a general round table discussion. 

Sorry Fox-it's gotta get better than tonight for sure!

I've always said Jose Grinan was a smart dresser-but this morning really proved my point LOL!!

Did anyone see him "flash" his socks, shoes and THOSE LEGS on camera this morning LOL!!  Sibila had to "fan" herself--the she showed her legs AND shoes!!  Thanks for being so REAL Jose and Sibila!!!  You 2 are awesome--and make news so much fun in the mornings!!!!

Okay-honestly and truthfully-do YOU think you could live without your cell phone?? 

In this day of electronics etc.-it seems everywhere we go people are talking on the phones or texting etc.  What in the world did WE do without these little gadgets??  Tell us YOUR story-how was YOUR life without CELLPHONES??? C'mon now-be honest and 'fess up!!!!

I could live without mine-and mostly do LOL!  My kids are always fussing at me because they call my phone and I don't answer it--I usually leave it in my purse on vibrate/silent-OR lost somewhere in the house.  There is a thing called a "house phone"-that's MUCH larger than a cell phone and I can hear ALOT better on the house phone LOL??  Soooooooo is it just me LOL????

I was looking at the pics on the main page and most of them have been there a VERY long time.  I think it's time to put some new pics up!!  I've scanned through the pics and there are some really cute and appropriate ones for each category!!  How 'bout it Fox??

I haven't watched American Idol much this year-mainly because the talent is not quite up to par AND I can not tolerate Amanda Overmyer!!  I was elated tonight when she got eliminated!!  Atlast, if I choose to watch A.I.-I won't have to leave the room to avoid hearing her horrible voice!!  She really messed up last night talking about selling tickets etc.  Sometimes the contestants get a tad bit "big headed" and before you know it-they're gone!!!!  Carly needed a dose of reality too-and she got it by being in the bottom 3!!  Hmmmmmmmm-who is the winner going to be????

It's been a while since our beautiful Andrea Watkins did a "blogger" profile--it was July 2007 to be exact.  When is the next blogger profile series going to be done and who will be doing them??  I think we need to take vote now LOL!!  The ones who were interviewed in July (for you newbies) was:

I think ROBIN and MIK1of3 should be done for sure!!  I thought Andrea was going to do a profile in November and Mik was asked to do one.  WW needs to be profiled too!!  Gosh-theres alot of bloggers I'd like to see on T.V. LOL!  How 'bout you??

Haven't yawl noticed that our own "Blogger Profiler" lady is back on Fox full time??  It's been great to see Andrea in the mornings again-everyday too!!  BUT-who is going to take care of the "Bloggers" now??? 

And ANDREA-your hair is gorgeous!!  I want to know what you are using to get it sooooooooooo shiny LOL???

Are your BORED with all of the T.V. Shows yet?? With the writers strike-it seems there is a HUGE influx of reality and game shows. It's all getting a bit “old” don't you think?

Last night (Friday) there was NOTHING on the regular T.V. Stations-nothing but repeats LOL! I remember when the Friday night shows were “family” shows-I think it was called T.G.I.F.?

Have you watched any of these NEW reality or game shows? If so, which is your FAVORITE and LEAST FAVORITE?

What show could you watch over and over again and not get tired of it? I could watch “Family Matters” and “Full House” all the time and be happy LOL! Oh-and my favorite show of all time is/was “Touch by an Angel”--I LOVE that show!! Sooooooooooooooooooo-what's your fav. Repeats to watch??

1. Have you noticed that stairs are getting steeper ?
2. Groceries are heavier . And, everything is farther away. Yesterday I walked to the corner and I was dumbfounded to discover how long  our street had become!
3. And, you know, people are less considerate now, especially the young ones. They speak in whispers all the time! If you ask them to speak up they just keep repeating themselves, endlessly mouthing the same silent message until they're red in the face! What do they think I am, a lip reader?
4. I also think they are much younger than I was at the same age. On the other hand, people my own age are so much older than I am. I ran into an old friend the other day and she has aged so much that she didn't even recognize me.
   
5. Another thing, everyone drives so fast these days! You're risking life and limb if you happen to pull onto the freeway in front of them. All I can say is, their brakes must wear out awfully fast, the way I see them screech and swerve in my rear view mirror.

Yeah-I know, I know-another REALITY show LOL!  But this one is basically an "original". 

Since last years show was not so great (atleast to me and a few others) will you watch every episode this year-or just watch it "sparingly"? 

They tryouts are usually our favorite to watch.  We always try to "guess" who will make it to the top 10, and we do pretty good with our guesses LOL!

Who has been your most fav. American Idol from seasons past? 

I think it would be fun if everyone who watches A.I. would "weigh in" on the blogs-give their input on who the winner would be etc.  How 'bout it?? 

My buddies in Bloggersville have been very busy and being very quiet for a few weeks LOL-but I want to wish each and every one of you a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So what are YOUR plans for tonight-how will you “bring in the New Year”?? We always stay home and watch the “ball” drop in New York LOL-boring?? I'd rather be home and safe and not on the road with folks that chose to get behind the wheel and drive while intoxicated!!
