I've noticed alot of new cars with the paper tags lately, and they seem to be the more gas "efficient" vehicles!  Thankfully, mine is about 5yrs. old and is very good on gas!!  Ken, however, has a land "yacht" that is a gas guzzler!!

Will you be buying a more efficient vehicle?? If so, which one?  What is the MOST efficient vehicle?

The bike...good one WW.

I have a Honda Civic. We are hearing some really good things about the 2010 Ford Edge that is going to be electric-powered totally and will cost about the equivalent of 95 cents a gallon for charging it up (they equate it as the power you use for your toaster) that is supposed to get over 100 miles per gallon. I'm interested in these hybrids that might plug in. I'd love to get my hands on one of those new hydrogen Hondas that are coming out that will lease for $500 a month but I don't know of any local hydrogen stations. We need to replace our 1990 Corolla soon.

Oh if only I were in shape-my office is close enough to ride a bike LOL-but with the way drivers are with bicyclists-I'd get my booty ran over too quick!!

There are alot of cute little cars and they don't cost a fortune-BUT-I wonder how long it will be before their prices creep up??

I am SO excited to say on Saturday we bought our very first NEW (13mi) car!!! (Unless you count the one I leased in 1998. I don't cos I had to turn that one in.)

It's a 2008 Chevy HHR. It gets great gas mileage--you can go 400 miles on one tank. Beats the 285 miles on my SHO. And it's so neat!! It has Onstar and all the little tripometer things..98% oil life, 194 miles left on tank, etc...even a rear window wiper!! I never had one of those before!!

It does have that new car smell that everyone loves. Everyone except me...I think it smells like formaldehyde, personally.

The Altima is a great car on gas. We might just get one soon. I think we will be seeing a lot of "land yachts" on the used car lots very soon. We have a Rav-4, sweet little SUV that's great on gas too.

I drive a '96 Chevy Blazer, not so good on gas... But my dad commutes, so he drives a Kia Spectra5, it's super cute and get's pretty good mileage. I would certainly be looking into getting a car that is really good on mileage but I'm about to move to New York (Manhattan) - and I certainly won't need a car there! :)

It's polyvinyl chloride and brominated flame retardants actually.

LOL-I have an Altima-(pic above) and LOVE it!! Wouldn't trade it in for nothing LOL! It gets good gas mileage. My son's fiance just got Chevy Aveo for graduation-it gets even better gas mileage LOL-but it's very "squished up" in the back--guess it's what I would call a "hatch back"? I've notice ALOT of Nissan Sentra's around-more than usual. We have one right now as a rental--Ken was in a MVA and the land yacht is in for repairs. We had actually thought about getting a Sentra, so driving one for the last few weeks has been a great trial period. This little car actually rides pretty good--it has a normal amount of "road noise", and gets SUPER gas mileage!!

I haven't thought of trading in the ole car yet... but I definitely grumble, every time I fill 'er up.

We just did a report that more people than ever are running out of gas on highways... b/c they wait 'til the very last drop...

As I was finishing my military career I bought a nine year old gas guzzler with only 500 miles on it. Yes, it really was owned by an old lady who only drove it to church. I hated it when a drunk driver destroyed it.

I replaced it with a Dodge Omni that I literally drove all over the country-coast to coast. I loved that I put 9 gallons in the gas tank and drove a little over 400 miles before refueling.

I had a Geo Metro that got close to 50 miles to the gallon. I was heart broken when I lost her in a car accident.

Presently, I drive a Chevy Cavalier. It gets 33 mpg, but it's a good car overall. I miss my Metro though, with it's great mileage.
