this is the same with blogs as well, I skim through the blogs on the feature page, I read the ones I subscribe to and I comment on the ones that strike me for a comment.
One thing you rarly see anymore is an actual paper mail. The personal touch, I think we are losing that as a whole.

I delete the ones from companies I've asked for them to put me on their email lists. I read all the others. I put in Spam anything that looks suspicious. I go through over 500+ emails a day.

Over the years I've managed to train friends, relatives and business associates that forward all this nonsense. I still allow a few to come through and I read those but it's amazing how quickly the BLEEP stops when you begin to forward all your penis enlargement and Nigerian scam spam to those that just won't take any other kind of hint.

There's a free program called emailstripper which works well.

P.S. Opening unfamiliar emails can cause a virus attack.
I purposely used a new email address for this blog only to soon be bombarded with BLEEP mail.
Yes, either Fox26 sells the list or someone in their employ (which is not unusual)

Before I send any emails out-I DO removed all the junk LOL! If someone sends me an email with all of the forwarding stuff on it, then I usually don't read it for a while!!

THEN-there are some....who send you emails that will make you FALL OUT OF THE CHAIR.... RANDY????????????? And Omygato has sent some perty hilarious ones too LOL!

I LOVE getting the cartoons and pic emails!!

I have 3 email addys LOL-one for my FRIENDS, one for the sites that may sell my email address and 1 for ebay stuff-that's it LOL! I never, ever get junk mail in my FRIENDS email mailbox.
