I haven't watched American Idol much this year-mainly because the talent is not quite up to par AND I can not tolerate Amanda Overmyer!!  I was elated tonight when she got eliminated!!  Atlast, if I choose to watch A.I.-I won't have to leave the room to avoid hearing her horrible voice!!  She really messed up last night talking about selling tickets etc.  Sometimes the contestants get a tad bit "big headed" and before you know it-they're gone!!!!  Carly needed a dose of reality too-and she got it by being in the bottom 3!!  Hmmmmmmmm-who is the winner going to be????

I hope David Cook wins. But David Archuleta might pull in the teenage vote (you know they don't have anything better to do than vote for 2 continuous hours over and over again).

I missed her segment last night so I'm not sure what she actually said. Based on who I saw (the other 10 contestants) I felt like Kristy Lee Cook was the one who fell short again. She was so sour and sharp.

I was wondering why you weren't watching A.I. this year. Knew you mentioned it in another blog, but wasn't really sure. I'm still trying to figure out why in the world Jason Castro has hung in there this long...LOL

My hubby and I had a hard time getting past Amanda....sorry to tell her but she ain't no Janis!!! We were happy to see her go and like was previously stated, curious as to how Kristy and Jason have hung in like they have.
I do believe there is a lot of good talent this year and it's going to be difficult to pick just one. Michael Johns was outstanding this week as was David Cook and David Archuleta. I also thought that Chikezie had a LOT of potential and talent. With the ladies, Syesha has a powerful voice, and we keep waiting for little Ramiele to cut loose...LoL...but I really like Brooke, too! (shades of Carly Simon)

I forgot Carly - oh, how could I?....LoL!!! I think she has a fantastic voice, but she's really gonna have to stay focused and cover up that tattooed arm!!!

I miss blogging all the time with my blogging friends and family. I LOVE getting emails from yawl though-keep 'em coming!! I think FOX26 has the best news "family" around-and yes to most of us they are just that "FAMILY"! Keep up the great work FOX-and can't wait to see more and more positive changes for the station (as long as nobody leaves-your bloggers will stay happy LOL!)
