Okay so many of us have a little (or big) commute to work/home.  I always find myself switching from one radio station to another, almost incessantly.  In fact, I never realized how quickly and how much I changed the station until someone was in my car and brought it to my attention.   Which station do you listen to or do you have a bunch of cds that you filter through?

Jan,

KODA is a wonderful station, then there's always KTRH for a big dose of what's going on. The morning show on KODA is especially good.

If radio wasn't so bad in this town, we wouldn't have to change the station so much.
Houston radio play the same songs and same artist over and over. It's so redundant it's horrible.
If Houston could only have radio stations like Austin and San Antonio.
They don't play the same songs and when they play popular bands, they play songs you haven't heard in a long time or "b-sides".
Perhaps I need to win the lottery so I can start my own station. I'm sure there are others who feel the same as I do.

my car lacks a radio cause it's just a work vehicle...but this summer when i get my new whip(car) i would just listen to my CD's. i got tons of CD's, mostly hip hop and reggae music.if i wanna listen to some r&b, alternative, or other music, i put on the radio. maybe i should burn you some nice ones, Jan so you don't have to fumble through suck radio stations...lol.

omgosh...i'm very picky when it comes to music. i have quite a few "car" cds. my eclectic mix of music is actually very comical... a little bit of 80s, a little bit of country.

jan, i'm such a news junkie that i listen to ktrh almost all the time. the only time i listen to music is when i'm "rebelling" and want time away from my job. that's when i usually bounce back and forth between the classic rock station (don't remember the number or call letters) and 99.1. and listening to cds or ipod music for my kids feels uncomfortable because i'm not connected to live radio in case of big breaking news. that's bad... i have to expand my horizons more huh?
