"Laissez Le Bon Temps Rouler!" Andre Johnson is
back, and did he ever make a statement! Big Andre had six catches for
120 yards, including a wide-open 73 yard strike, in the first quarter
to make a HUGE statement early. Matt Schaub's return was also
brilliant. He was 21-33, with 293 yards passing, 2 TD's, and no
picks. And, at least for this season, you can put the Bush vs.
Williams arguement to bed. Mario Williams definitely out-played Reggie
Bush. Even Ron Dayne out-played Reggie Bush. Dayne had 89 yards
rushing on 21 carries. Bush had 34 yards on 15 carries. Dayne wound
up with 115 total yards, where Bush wound up with 104 total yards. The
defense definitely stepped it up a notch as well, especially in the
second half, when the Saints didn't do anything at all. Marques
Colston was really the only Saint, with nice stats, garnering 118 yards
receiving. Austin native Drew Brees, was 33-49 with 290 yards
passing. He had one touchdown pass, but was picked twice. So, it
looks like all is well once again in Texans football land. Now if we
can take this game and match it when it comes time to face the Colts, Titans, and Jags again. Also, let's hope they take "Big Mo(mentum)" into their game with the hot Cleveland Browns at the "Mistake By The Lake" next week. The Browns have won 3 of 4, and are chasing down a Wild Card spot as well. But, today was a great start.
