Just when you thought this crazy football season, could not get any wilder, it did. I can't remember the last time I saw the Number One and Two teams fall on the same day, but that's exactly what has happened today. First, the 17th Ranked Kentucky Wildcats, yes the school more known for Hoops, than BCS bids, upset the Number 1 Ranked, LSU Tigers 43-37 at Commonwealth Stadium in Lexington. I guess they got a little of that Midnight Madness magic from the Arena next door. Then, the Oregon State Beavers went into Berkeley Stadium and upset the California Golden Bears 31-28. So, once again you will see a new Top 5 and a new number one, and Michigan fans might want to turn their head away from the computer screen, but it will probably be the Ohio State Buckeyes. Who up to this point, really haven't played anyone. But, the futility of some of these others like LSU and USC might propel the Buckeyes into that top position when the new Top 25 comes out tomorrow.
If you wanted more drama in football, then this is definitely your year, because I can't remember seeing anything like this. Each week brings us new excitement. And, the fact that schools like Kentucky, not known for its football prowess and South Florida, who just keeps winning are really turning some serious heads amongst the College Football Insiders. I cannot wait to see what happens next week!
