No, not really. Based on the stories I have seen, I think the Fort Bend ISD is doing a better job in providing services to kids with disability than the other school districts in the Houston area. My child was moved from some of the special ed classes to regular classes in the middle of the school year. I was told the state is cutting back on special ed funding and they are trying to move special ed students to regular classes. I am a work-at-home dad and I have been able to stay on top of things so far. I don't mind paying more tax if the money is used to improve our education system. Unfortunately, our politicians in Austin are more concerned about their own political career than improving education in our state.
