Hmmm--
This is a "hard one" for Cookie--
Cookie wants to be christian & love his neighbors--
When your neighbor wants to "use you" or "take advantage of your hospitality", it becomes a problem--

Please do not take this as racist, or prejudicial, it is "just food for thought"--

Involving illegal immigration, we have several scenarios:
We have the TYPICAL "ILLEGAL"  that sneaks across the border,  can't speak the language, & does menial labor, steals, stands on street corners & they are easily identifiable--These can be dealt with by ICE--
The pose a "problem" but mostly that they need to "utilize whatever means are necessary to exist like stealing"--
Then there are the one that sneak across--know/learn our language, & through their "wily guile", they lay up & spawn millions of babies to become citizens, take our jobs at a lower pay rate, & SLOWLY infiltrate our system--
They "ALLY" themselves to unsuspecting americans, become members of society, & LOWER our standard of living!!
They utilize EVERY loophole to drain our social system of funds, prey upon our generosity, & like cockroaches they "multiply"--to gain control--
THESE are the MOST dangerous--because they DON'T have the intelligence OR "american pride" to keep our standards!
THEN--when these "MILLIONS" of "legal?" children reach a working age--they will compete with YOUR children for jobs--
They will take jobs away from "AMERICANS" & because of their "inherited double-digit IQ"--perhaps our standards will decline--??
Cookie thinks it is a DEVIOUS, INGENIUS plan to "eventually take over this country"--
The ONLY reason we defeated them at San Jacinto--was through the "perception & ingenuity" of Sam Houston & others leaders!
Were they "legal" it would be a problem, that would be mostly "conscientious"--
Since they are "CRIMINALS" they should be dealt with "legally"--

Cookie also believe that this "born citizen" law is the greatest threat to America--?

NOW--the reason for this post--
Cookie has read some posts where a blogger "seems to be utilizing" this ploy--
He has little talent--& by exibiting a "Come join me" attitude--utilizing a "comical, friendly, attitude" He has allied himself to MANY a unsuspecting viewer--??
Not so sure this is good--but Cookie will not "play into this game"--
The only reason He has NOT been successful with his ploy--is that business  leaders realize he has "little talent", & "little to offer"--
Cookie thinks maybe "having a friend will cost TOO much"--??
Cookie wants HIS friends (who are few) to be GENUINE--??
"MANY" a employer "fall prey to this ploy" which is the most USEFUL tool  of "aspiring devious people"----
Many a "CON ARTIST" has used this "ploy successfully" to ally themselves to you--gain your confidence--then rip you off--??

IF--Cookie is wrong in this assessment--his apologies are in order--
Just thoughts from Cookie--for whatever they are worth---??

Cookie like to compare life to a "video game"--

If you & I live together, & I have a hundred video games--

They are adventure games, &  the object is to follow paths, avoid being eaten, & finally "claim the prize"!

If I set there for "days", weeks, playing one game--& FINALLY figure out the path--& win the prize--I go on to another game--

YOU--following behind me--play the first game also--

I can show you the way--

I can tell you which paths to take, so you can "claim the prize" also in a short time---but you choose to waste your time making the same mistakes I made--??

That, too me, is a waste of VALUABLE time, but isn't life like that?

We can learn our "different options" from others, & accomplish SO MUCH more--

but we choose to do it "our way"--??

(Sometimes we learn--& do it the right way--later on when no one knows it--!)

We go to schools to learn "how others do something"--learn proven ways to succeed--

but if a friend, parent, co-worker suggests options, we refrain from utilizing them--?

Strange--?? 

I will NEVER understand THAT philosophy of life--???

Cookie realizes ALL people are different--& generally, entertainment is focused to certain groups, with all having some form of inclusion.

(This will not enamor me to the majority of bloggers, but I always say what I think--in hopes changes can be made--)

I was "very impressed" with this "blogging idea" by Fox--

when it came out, & thought it had tremendous potential--

It gave Fox a chance to "feel the heartbeat" of Americans, interrelate with them, & let bloggers vent their frustrations, voice their opinion, & HOPEFULLY provide a forum where "ideas could be retrieved"!

Having served on many boards, panels, (especially in the era of "the team concept") where even the stupid, inexperienced could sometimes provide a solution to a problem, I felt it could be positive!

Recently, the forum has been taken over by:

Asinine "young people", who (barely qualify for a fast food job, yet) find time to "BLOG CONSISTANTLY, endearing others to join their kindergarten group--?? 

ONE would think--that since they are on the BOTTOM rung of the "success ladder"--they would TRY & find something to make hem MORE productive--& enhance their LIFESTYLE!!

Bloggers who take up "PAGES" for pictures of their DOGS, cats, racial groups, parties, etc. --?

You SHOULDN'T need but "ONE" picture!!!!

(They also "ïnnocently" get THEIR faces, cars, homes, kids, included--like ANYONE cares what you have!)

The preachers--?

the wanna-be-somebodies--?

the gripers, the people who want to "SOLICIT BUSINESS", those who want to try & impress us with their writing abilities, & can't even construct a sentence--?

The people who want to promote "medical knowedge study" for "some degenerative disease their child has"---?

The people who want to show their "grandchildren" off-- ?

WHEN--there are SO MANY "NEEDS" AFFECTING OUR SOCIETY!!!

Ms. Watkins does a "spectacular job" interviewing bloggers, but HER choice of subjects--is getting "REALLY sickening!

I mean--to interview someone on TV--who JUST WANTS "AIR TIME" -- & works at some menial job, has a double digit IQ--just so they can say "HI MOM!"--c'mon!

Athough I think he is awesomely "NAIVE", the BEST blogger on this forum is CHASSEN-- He provides a variety of topics that would interest everyone--researches them & provides SOME form of enlightenment-- His MAIN problem--is He writes TOO many!!

There are others like MIK1 (gone?), Sassy11, jprjpvrt, My tech guy, Justice, Lanny, Ford, Dart, & a few more of the STAFF--

NOTHING--as frustrating--as trying to find a interesting blog--& have to "sift through pages"--- of pictures of "somebody''s DOG"--?

Oh well, I will try & find something else to occupy MOST of my time--

& you GOT to LOVE the "W.C. FIELDS NOSE PIC"----??

As Cookie watches the news, He hears this morning:

"How the stock market is booming"--?

He sees young people around him driving NEW autos, dressed in designer clothes, living in lavish pads, all watching HD TV, playing with their X-boxes, taking trips abroad, ocean cruises,--(& MANY work at fast food places for 7.00 per hr.)--?

He sees subdivisions being built on EVERY available parcel of property, accomodating the NEEDS of the people--?

He sees the rich getting richer--?

He sees MORE & MORE "pacification of the consumer, (with built in clauses that provide for  non-conformance on the part of the seller)--?

He sees the importation of goods exceeding the outflow of goods--(Unfavorable trade balance?)

Buying foreclosures, Cookie sees MORE & MORE people LOSING THEIR LIFE-LONG POSSESSIONS---?

He sees millions  going bankrupt--utilizing the "system" to just "file"--start over & do it again--passing on the loss to the public--?

Cookie has been around a LONG time, has some "economics" knowledge, has listened to "MANY" sales pitches spanning almost every  "gig"--

Cookie thinks that ALL is "NOT as well" as "some" would want to make us think--?

It is "basic economics" that you cannot spend more than you earn--

You can rob Peter to pay Paul--just "so long"--?

For MANY years it was the "norm" ---that you started with nothing--built slowly, & soon (if you were lucky & disciplined yourself), you would acquire a "nice standard of living"--?

To think that "ALL OF A SUDDEN",  we have progressed to the point---

 that EVERY  high school dropout, 

EVERY person who can sign his name,

EVERY person that enters our country with "NOT even the ability to speak the language"---

Can "live a PROSPEROUS LIFE, enjoying ALL the amenities of wealth--

"IS LUDICROUS"!!!!!

Cookie thinks that SOON--when Peter CAN'T borrow anymore--& CAN'T pay Paul--& the B.S. ends--that WHEN "100 million people DEMAND their savings that AREN'T there"---the party will END!!!

He see China "already" facing this ACCOUNTABILITY" problem---Can we be far behind?

Cookie thinks "that (maybe) many white men speak with a forked tongue"--?

The  sad part IS --that there are MILLIONS of Americans, who still have the "American spirit"-

who are honest--

who are christian--

who still abcribe to these values--"that presumes they will be told the truth, & treated fairly"--

that are being "taken to the cleaners"!!!!

Soon, (with the Monkey see/Monkey do-- theory) everyone will "find a way" & our great system will be HISTORY!!!

I remember 4-6  years ago, when the "alledged" Oil company  "takeover" occured--it just came to me as "ALL"  these incidents were "TOO" coincidental--??

Everything  was "so" plain--it was as plain as the nose on my face what was occurring--?

Everyone I spoke to, told me "I was full of it"-- ??

Everone told me that "Bush was right"---??

As the gas prices soared, as everything fell in place, I felt like a "PROGNOSTICATOR"!!

As the B.S. flowed, & the death count mounted--6 years later we are where I said we would be--???

I predicted 3-4.00 a gal. gas prices when it was 1.50 a gal.--?

I predicted the "fall of gas prices" just before the election, & the "IMMEDIATE" rise" as soon as they were over!--(Damn I was good!--lol!)

Then as protesters gathered in protest outside of the oil companies meetings as the counted their money--??

Haliburton bought their own "country"---with OUR money--??

As "OUR" soldiers are "BOOED"----??

As nations around the world "voice their hatred for us"---?

As "support for the war" dwindles to 15%---& we are STILL there--?

As millions lose their life savings, jobs, companies, because of oil prices, --?

For 6 "YEARS" we have been spending 8-12 BILLION dollars a "DAY"  fighting this war--?

(Have to take my shoes off to count that high!)

When THIS bill hits us in the as- , taxes MIGHT rise!--?

As the "focus" on Iraq continues while we are besieged at home by illegal immigrants taking over--??

As I was in a store the other day & saw a mexican with a tee shirt that had emblazoned over 2 mexican flags the words "WE COME TO CONQUER"-??

hmmm----???

Cookie thinks that eventually this "historical event" will make Watergate look like a "walk in the park"---

Time will either prove me right --OR wrong--??

As I listened to Bush this morning--even "I" was  almost convinced of his "wisdom"--?

Geez--He IS a good speaker--He could sell ice cubes in Alaska--!

Daily--more & more are "less" impressed--?

Cookie thinks it interesting how different our blogging members are--?

Cookie reads posts (mostly) by the "subject", & if I have "little respect for the author", I move on---

We have so much diversity in our culture, & many seem to fit a "a mold"-?

It is also apparent that you "should be liked" or you feel you are a outcast-so VERY few say what they REALLY think--??

Cookie thinks you can group them:

There are the "status seekers", those who are 1st to volenteer for a TV APPEARANCE--?

There are those that seek to impress others with their "abilities", when their writing style shows their credentials--?

There are those who have "their own personal issues" that they HARP on--"CONSTANTLY"---that few care about--?

There are those that seek to impress us with a "picture of their HOME,DOG,CAR", as if anyone cares---?

"PERSONAL" recognition seems to be a obsession with this generation--?

There are those that write "scritural verse quotations" instead of "just saying what it means"---?

There are those who pick up on a "subject" that others "praise" them for their stance, & "run with it"!----?

There are those that seldom write a post, but comment on MANY, with intelligent responses like Sassy, Mik, Justice, etc.-- 

There are those that "must not have a occupation" since they live on here writing 3-4 posts daily,  that offer their "authoratative interpretation" & research on every subject--?

Cookie considers every post He reads "food for thought" & although I have some socially unacceptable responses sometimes, I am honest--?

I guess I have always "wanted to learn something" so if you have little to offer, I have little interest--?

Cookie has learned that there are "always" 2 sides to "every" story---?

COOKIE HAS A PROBLEM---

Just "suppose" that there was a small nation like cuba that consisted of unending gold mines.

Just "suppose" that a giant nation like China wanted the gold---

Both nations are living harmoniously prior to this--

Just "suppose" that China decided to rid Cuba of their "dictatorship" rule-

(This is, of course, for CUBA'S  benefit)

China plans a invasion, which is know by Cuba--

Cuba, being a small nation, cannot compete with this large nation "mano el mano", so they utilize terrorists to enter China & bomb their cities--They utilize bombs in cars, land mines, to fight back--which is all they can do.

China invades them, & takes over--

Meanwhile Cuba continues to utilize "terrorist bombers" to retalliate--- since this is the ONLY way to fight the giant alliance.

This goes on and China "continues to fight terrorism"? ----

Who do you think is right?

Do you think that China has the right to "impose their values on Cuba"?

Is this "terrorism" to fight in the ONLY way you can--???

Cookie believes it is NOT terrorism, but more heroism, "as difficult as that is if you are involved"--

I have pondered this to great extent--& it is hard--

Cookie is not that smart, but ANYONE should be able to see what his administration has done to America!

"IF" ANY "ADMINISTRATION" HAS EVER DESERVED to be called to "account for their actions" THIS ONE "DOES"!!

We impeached Nixon for "Watergate"---Lying--??

We called Clinton to account for his "promiscous acts"--??

YET--this administration has done MORE damage to this nation, than ANY administration in history!!!

I would think that almost ANY American would agree (besides people like "PREACH"!)--THAT the repercussions of this administration will be felt for "MANY YEARS"!

Lets see--We have been fighting in a war we shouldn't be in--

We are alienating all our allies--"?

We are hated around the world--?

We have decimated our economy, so the oil companies can get rich-?

We have ignored our social & internal issues--?

We have a policy where "If you got some money you can give us, you can do anything"----?

We will even let you go on our space ships into orbit, if you got the change--?

It is Cookies opinion that Bush & Co. needed a major "ally" in their attempt to invade Iraq, so they talked Tony Blair into joining thier fold.

Great Britain (at least) had the intelligence to dump him for these actions!

It is a shame that you can't sometimes "convict a entity" without proof, when you KNOW what they are doing!

Th people are growing restless--& will probably "react"--but MAYBE too late!

Cookie watched Bill O'Reilly last night, as He arrogantly addressed the immigration issue!

He said that "We can handle the 12-15 million illegal immigrants who are here, but that allowing their "families" which would total 40-50 million is unacceptable"!

????

Cookie cannot understand this "logic"--

First of all, we have a country with laws--

We have rules governing admission--

If you lie, cheat, enter illegally, you are WRONG!!

If someone steals money, & gives a portion to charity, says they "were just playing Robin Hood"--THAT--makes NO difference--

You broke the law!!!! 

Just because you have 12-15 million criminals here, & CANNOT figure a way to get them out--does NOT justify making them citizens!!!!!

Geez--(We have ALL this intelligence in this country, & look what we get for legislators & talk show hosts!)

I was reading a post on this, & a idea occurred--

Cookie sees it like this.

We had a strong nation, built on values, by hard working, individuals who constantly try & improve their daily life--

Then we have the "greedy" rich, who want to become richer---

We have the poor who want a "position" in life---

This administration has "indebted us" for centuries, with this war to control oil prices.

They have neglected the social services, the immigration problem, the sneaky changing of laws for individual proliferation, & I think that may be a solution!

I have heard it said, that because of all this graft, that without "cheap" labor, this system would collapse--??!  

IF--we had a "overhaul" of the "SOCIAL SERVICES"---

If---we strengthened the wording of our constitution, where ALL these loopholes were not in effect---

We "COULD" utilize  the cheap labor!!!!

"IF" we ELIMINATED the "babies born being citizens", ALL the "freebies" they can get, I assure you--there would be a LOT less immigrants!

MOST---don't do the menial work because they are stupid, alone--

They do it "because" it allows them the opportunity to "have babies that are citizens, ravage our social system, take advantage of loopholes, & live a "middle class lifestyle" where americans shoulder the burden of the cost!!

Perhaps THAT--is a partial solution--??

What is with these people that if they don't LIKE a word in the ENGLISH language, if they don't KNOW a word in the ENGLISH language--they want to abolish it or they make up one!

Are we going to have a "death" of Honky, Redneck, Klansman, Naxi, Whitey, Spook, Casper,  Booby lips, --????

Already--they have it classified as a "profane" word--

The N-word is, & always has been, just a slurring of the word NEGRO.

Is NEGRO a offensive word?

It never was--until someone got "uppity" & insisted on "black"??

They use it more themselves, than others use it!

Get REAL---if it is offensive, & someone calls you that, & YOU FEEL YOU ARE NOT THAT---then tell them!

If you didn't have a "complex" about it, you wouldn't  worry about it!

Cookie don't think that you should refer to ANYONE negatively, because of race or religion,

but "I" cannot change the language--

Cookie will use "whatever word" describes the situation--

"YOU" should not be able to "change" the language--

I cannot stop people from "thinking" that--

so why worry about it? 

You can "eliminate" a word (till the cows come home)--but if someone wants to use it, they will--?

I was always appalled at how frequently people use the son-of- a-bith term, that people rarely think that it is making reference to your mother-who didn't do anything!!??

Cookie thinks "someone" has a problem--??

Watching the news, it was noted that "only 23%" of Americans wanted the immigration bill passed last month!

Now it is down to 22%, but politicians ignore th public in their attempts to get this bill passed, & WHY would politicians go AGAINST what the people want?

It was noted that "Money & new voters" are what is keeping it alive!

 BUSINESS'S WHO HIRE ILLEGALS, along with the Democrats who assume that the NEW citizens will be democrats,  SUPPORT the bill!

It was noted that "evidently politicians care more about money & NEW voters", than about US!

They were stumping HOW IMPORTANT IT IS "IF" YOU ARE AGAINST THE BILL, TO EMAIL/CALL YOU CONGRESSMAN TONIGHT OR IN THE MORNING--and perhaps we can stop it AGAIN!

COOKIE JUST APRISING YOU OF WHATS HAPPENING--IF YOU BEEN BUSY!

Geez--even talk show hosts are saying "how bad this is!"

Cookie is just a old man with a wealth of knowledge, from experiences with dealing with "the system"--

I find it "so interesting" how people deal with issues--

We have all these problems with immigration, war, greed, poverty, health care--

An example-----

As a young man I always like automobiles--

I went in a "car dealership" to purchase a new car--

My friend sold cars there, so I felt that was good. This dealership encompassed a very large area that was worth a fortune--I pondered the "JUST the electric bill would be enormous"!

My friend told me the company made "only "25.00 per car", that company made their money off of the "service dept, & parts"--?

This did not "equivocate logically" to the expenses that seemed to exist--?

I bought a new car--NEVER again--after all the sevice trips where they "used my car to rip off the maker, listened to their "alibis", "excuses", etc.

I tried buying a car from a USED car lot, from a individual, & finally from auctions ALL with certain problems.

I attended auctions with a friend, learned how it works, & because of my association with "my dealer friend" was able to go in & buy 2-3 cars at a time, send the draft to my bank, & by the time it got there, I had the car sold & was buying more!

I found that this worked "best" for me my entire life--as it helped me to own a car!

I often ask people "how they buy a car" & they relate different views such as:  "I have a friend", "I go in with a plan what I am going to do", "I just like to be taken care of"--????

Our society has become more "satisfaction" oriented, but also VERY COSTLY!

Another example is how people view politicians, the war, etc.--??

In life you have to be sharp or you will be engulfed by the sharks, & the manipulative, Cookie thinks--??

You have to "perceive" scams "before" they occur---NOT after!

Sometimes you will "assume wrong", be unfair to others, lose out, but that is a gamble that you have to take.

You HAVE to protect "what you have" --keep America STRONG--or the system will collapse.

Once you LOSE something--it is SO hard to regain it.

I say with certainty, (like I have NEVER felt so STRONG)--

THAT THE PRESENT "TREND" CANNOT CONTINUE, & unless the middle class makes some DRASTIC changes, we will "lose our standard of living"!!!--???

I have stated my views in prior posts, on the war, immigration, social system abuse,  health care, & greed, which "I " believe to be the main problems.

Most of you have agreed with me, & that shows you got "something on the ball".

Watching the morning news, I got a good chuckle out of Lanny Griffith.

Doing a report on a local radio station, a lady member commented that the 2 gentlemen in their group were "handsome".

Lanny, jokingly, patted the older, (not so good looking?) member on the shoulder & commented something to the effect that "handsome didn't describe him"!

Melissa than tried to remedy the situation by saying "that the gentleman WAS handsome" which led to discussion of zodiac signs for compatability," the fact that each was married, and so on---

THAT sounds like something "I" would say!

Funny how people sometime say the "wrong thing" then when others TRY & lessen the blow--they bring attention to it!

I just "wonder" if Lanny would say that again--if the situation presented itself?

Those "# 13 leathers SURE don't taste good--huh, Lanny?

You have to admit, it lent some humor to the interview, & Melissa's comments were astute & appriate--

I think "boners" or "messing up" sometimes makes a broadcast more interesting in a world of "perfection"??
