So, after it's all "said 'n done"... & the primary results are in... do you feel YOUR vote made a difference?

I think that may not have counted as much. Especially when you have republicans trying to set the stage of the overal results. I know it is a sneaky way to do thing but look at what happened to Mitt Romney. McCain was going to lose that one state and so he threw all his delegates to Huckabee to keep Romney from winning the whole delegate count. So to think that they had a role to play in this outcome is also true to say lets stop Obama's strong push and place doubts by sabataging the primary results which is what I think is what happened. A truely devoted Clinton supporter would have shown up to caucus and you see Obama leading that by double digits with 44 percent reported in.

No one's votes really count when the system is rigged so that only candidates with obscene amounts of money funded by corporations stand a chance to win. Small parties are structurally discriminated against by absurd laws and lawsuits. In Texas you can't sign a petition to get a third party on a ballot if you've voted in the primary..which is open, and would have nothing to do with having a candidate on the national ticket. Districts are gerrymandered to ensure the two major parties win, the media pays hardly any attention to candidates that seek to reform the system.

So, voting as a whole doesn't make a real difference because we do not have a functioning democracy, and that's the way the elite class needs it to stay.

But wouldn't we feel completely helpless, if we didn't have the choice to vote?

We would...so conversely we would feel more empowered if we could vote more meaningfullly. So let's fight for the power to vote more comprehensively, to have democracy where politicians run every few years and shut their constituencies out of debates, play to big bussines interests, to be able to create the institutions that will help us progress socially, scientifically, and technologically as quickly as possible. This involves democratizing the economy by exclusively using democratically owned financial institutions and cooperatively owned businesses. This way everyone puts their crucial input into life and death decisions being made.

Distributing resources the way we do, and not in a way that ensures people don't die of poverty and embarrassingly curable diseases, is a matter of life and death. Those dying people should get a vote on how goods and services are distributed...does that not make sense?
