President Bush Endorses McCain

President Bush formally endorsed John McCain's candidacy at the White House the day after McCain clinched the GOP Presidential Nomination.

Republicans hoping to keep the White House obviously hopes this helps their cause.

Democrats meanwhile will do everything they can to tie McCain to all the things voters don't like about the Bush Administration.

But did McCain and Bush really have a choice?  Could the GOP Presidential nominee campaign from now until November with the current Republican President sitting on the sidelines and saying nothing?

The ANCHOR that is George Walker Bush is now OFFICIALLY tied around his neck. What does that mean? The high gas prices, the high unemployment, the spiraling dollar, the mortgage crisis and lest we NOT forget the war for weapons of mass destruction that didn't exist that became the war for the "Freedom" of the Iraqi people. It's a shame that such a great man has to distance himself from the worst presidency in HISTORY while having to play nice with the powers that be within' the party. It's an embarrasment. If McCain were SMART he would get so much distance between himself and the W. Bush administration that W. won't be able to see him with the Hubble telescope.
