This is not intended to be a racial thought, but the fact remains--

Have you noticed the "amazing" increase in mexican employees?

If you even  notice the TV anchor personalities recently hired, they are mostly mexican--?

It is my contention that we had a mass influx of illegal immigrants  starting in the 80's, who had children here--

They are NOW citizens, & entering the market--

My concern is that the "major"  immigration  was AFTER that, just recently--& when THEIR children enter  the  job force, WOW---!!

I really think that this will be a SERIOUS factor in our economy!

They can say "WE are citizens"---you are just a racist--??

The fact that all immigrants just want a  better life--that they have the right to the "pursuit of happiness"--is a right extended by the constitution, but LEGAL admisson to the USA should be a REQUIREMENT!

A nation, like promoters of a event, MUST have knowledge of the number of participants, so that they can plan for the future--

To enter illegally, is to overload the system, & it has no accommodation for them--?

Our government leadership has been seriously derelict in their duty!!

Just some thoughts--

You are not saying anything that has not been throughly covered on these blogs. None of us understand why the government refuses to put a stop to it. We have discussed this from every angle and have come up empty .There is a hot discussion about this on the blog"What if they got on the bus!"You might find it interesting.

I didn't see your blog murph, very good blog--interesting--
I know this subject is "being beat to death" with no resolution by intelligent americans, bbut I also agree with Kenny that you can't bring it up enough!
I almost feel like I am in Mexico, except most can speak some english!

Their voices are much more appeasing to the ears than the high pitch screaming sounds of a bleached haired pregnant duck that CNN have on their stations.
They are worst than the commercials.
You forgot the many squint eyed Asians.
Do we have any Native American's around???

I would probably agree with them, for I am a "top 10%'er" and the Great Walton and Johnson see it as they do. As does my political hero Ron Paul. The difference is, I have worked aside illegal immigrants. I know the disadvantages they face, because I didn't face them at work and they did. I got raises, they didn't. I got respect, they didn't. Even with all these disadvantages, they never let it deter their work ethic because they know that that is their only advantage over the American Citizen. They are willing to take abuse and continue working just as hard, where as the American worker (myself included) feels they are entitled to that job, and that their employer must accomodate their wants and needs as they provide them with a method to earn a living.

I wrote this blog "just" for consideration by the readers, and as for cookiecrumbler (aka randythieb)--you know what I think of you, so further elaboration is not neccessary.
You complain that I write under 2 screen names, (untrue!) yet you are doing the same thing--??
I will not get in to any discussions with you, or play your childish game.

As for Extermae--I disagree with your comments in total--
Whether you are a "good worker"--
whether you are "just a poor person trying to have a better life"--
whether you have a "good work ethic"--
is of NO consequence when you come here ILLEGALLY, & invite yourself to OUR party!
You are NOT WANTED, and will cause a lot of resentment for the FEW legal mexican citizens here.
ILLEGAL-means you are WRONG in what you are doing, regardless of HOW you do it, in most Americans opinion!

Try and remember that even legal Americans weren't originally "invited" to be here first. We're not without our own guilt of "invasion and takeover" which really isn't what I think is going on.

And actually I'd prefer a "good worker" "looking for a better life" and having a superior "work ethic" than a very hostile exclusivist.

If you'd like to get into the philosophy that lies between the difference of right and wrong vs. legal and illegal, we can do that. With the assumption that you're a Christian Conservative, I ask you only to look at abortion to show you that I am indeed correct.

And just how do you know how many accounts people have on this site, are our i.p.'s of each post made public knowledge, or do they freely admit to it?

Hmmm-- we can do that--
Liken the illegal invasion to YOU making rules in your home--invite 10 people for dinner & ME, because I am cutting your grass--

I bring 20 people who eat all the food--
ignore your rules--
turn your TV to OUR channel--
some of my friends take your car and go joy riding--wreck it--
Some more steal things from your house--
You go down & buy more food as your guests are miserable & hungry--
I tell you "They are just poor people who are hungry"--
They eat all the food you buy this time--
so you go buy MORE--I bring MORE people & you are broke, your guests are STILL hungry & miserable--They leave, mad--& you are VERY upset, & we decide to STAY--FOEVER--& let YOU RAISE OUR KIDS---???
There is little difference in that analogy as you broaden it to a city/national level!
Just as YOU own the little plot of ground & its improvements, the "CITIZENS" of this country OWN this nation--regardless of how they got it!
It has been improved significantly since the indians owned it, & NOT by the sweat of THEIR brow--alone!
"Hostile exclusivist"--?
Hmmm--I would think that ANYONE who builds something--& has someone come in--UNINVITED__ & take over SHOULD be hostile--or at least AGRAVATED!
If you build something yourself--it is exclusive!
I se NO correlation between ILLEGAL immigration & abortion--??
Abortion is a PERSONAL choice that each person will answer for, perhaps--

hey, eblue..my DH made the comment last week about all the kids that are spotlighted on Fox in the morning; "Aren't white kids allowed?"

I told him of course there were white kids on there, I've seen them myself. He said HE never had. Course, he's a bear in the mornings, but once I thought about it..it does SEEM to be a disproportionate amount of hispanic and black kids versus the white and asian ones.

I guess we white and Asian parents don't feel the need to brag on our kids like the other races do, so we must not send in all the pictures, report cards, etc like the hispanic and black parents.
