I espoused these opinions almost a year ago.
I detest a negative doomsday opinion, but really feel we are headed in a bad direction.
I would think that "most people can relate to this situation" & a lot feel the same way--helpless!
We have the greatest country in the world, & we all just want to "do our thing" & contibute to our society, in the best way we can.
Most of us want to be christian, loving, & help our fellow man.
As we all try & have more personal possessions, a better life, there has to be limitations.
As business struggle to survive, they try & find loopholes, gigs, ways to increase sales.
They hire illegals at low wages, which deteriorates our service, even though this imposes severe hardships on the LEGAL citizen!
Accountants in both the government, & business sect "juggle the books" to show positive results.
Lawyers "utilize laws" to get favorable rulings for clients regardless of the effect on society.
"Robbing Peter to pay Paul" has already caught up with China, Japan, & other countries.
Our housing industry is NOW suffering from this initially, & "soon?" all business will feel the effects!
I feel the main problem is "our personal lack of fiscal management" & the INCREASE OF THE ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION"!
We try & be "christian" & ignore the problem.
It is MY feeling that our economy CANNOT accommodate this HUGE burden!
Our president has acted "TOTALLY IRRATIONALLY" in committing our focus on the mideast, instead of focusing it on our borders, where the DANGER EXISTS!
I originally thought that we could continue to "juggle" the problem for 5-10 more years, but it looks like it may occur sooner?
When everyone loses their homes, jobs, & we become a nation similar to Mexico's lower class, a primitive nation, where you will have to defend yourself in the streets with weapons--no home, no computer, no car, no schools, we may look back to "what once was"!
I hope I am wrong, but just as we have to ponder our own personal finances, we must look at our government finances!
More & more of us are utilizing "credit"--more & more of us are going bankrupt--more & more of us "are living the good life" with little regard to "paying for it"!
Someone "has" to pay for it--SOONER OR LATER!
All our politicians want to "accomodate everyone"--???
I liken this to a family--where parents make rules--& their children think they are "dictators"--BUT--they are successful!
If you let everyone "have it their way" soon a LOT of problems surface--?
Which "is the best"?
Interesting thoughts, I think---for us to ponder?
Thank you!
