The Horn incident brought up a thought that concerns me---
With the mass influx of illegal immigration, the mass population propogation by the lower class through unplanned parenthood, & the "GREAT AMERICAN RIPOFF" (as I refer to it) by the Bush administration & the oil companies, our economy is suffering tremendously.
Hoardes of "citizens?" are resorting to illegal means to suport their lifestyle.
There are more & more cases of burglary, thievery, & conning--
Scavengers are even ripping off public air conditioning units for the metal value!
Citizens have always had the right to protect their property, but as the lower class has more & more to say about legislation, this right is in jeopardy--?
I fear that if this right is recinded, & the problem gets worse, citizens may have 2 choices-
You can shoot a intruder, & be jailed and lose your property to thieves/scavengers & confiscation by the mortgage company/state----
OR--
You can let them continue to take things (& rely on the overworked police dept. who cannot keep up with the overload) & soon you will have NOTHING left--
You LOSE either way!
NOT a "thought we all wish to entertain"---?

This blog is in reference to the shootings by property owners of thieves stealing their (or neighbors) property!
We live in a drastically changing country, & NOT all for the better, I fear!
One would think that we would progress, as we have for centuries, with new technology, & experience. I fear that we are regressing in this area.
A president once said something to the effect "If you don't protect your freedom, it will be taken from you"--?
A individual may not be able to control the direction our country travels, but they SHOULD be able to control the small parcel of property that they possess.
It will be a SAD day for people of ALL races IF this control is lost!
For someone to stand up & DEFEND "THIEVES" who prey on innocent citizens while they are away from their home--is DEPLORABLE!!
I commend the people who protected their property--& that of their neighbors--a admirable trait!
It is also sad that we HAVE to allow "protestors"to "picket the individuals" home in protest of this act of heroism!
I assure you--were I to burglarize a home, I would entertain the thought that I may be shot!
If we allow this indictment, we are JUST giving criminals the right to steal when we are gone!
Shame on you Quannel--& the family members who plan this protest!

This is not intended to be a racial thought, but the fact remains--
Have you noticed the "amazing" increase in mexican employees?
If you even notice the TV anchor personalities recently hired, they are mostly mexican--?
It is my contention that we had a mass influx of illegal immigrants starting in the 80's, who had children here--
They are NOW citizens, & entering the market--
My concern is that the "major" immigration was AFTER that, just recently--& when THEIR children enter the job force, WOW---!!
I really think that this will be a SERIOUS factor in our economy!
They can say "WE are citizens"---you are just a racist--??
The fact that all immigrants just want a better life--that they have the right to the "pursuit of happiness"--is a right extended by the constitution, but LEGAL admisson to the USA should be a REQUIREMENT!
A nation, like promoters of a event, MUST have knowledge of the number of participants, so that they can plan for the future--
To enter illegally, is to overload the system, & it has no accommodation for them--?
Our government leadership has been seriously derelict in their duty!!
Just some thoughts--

As I read responses from bloggers, I get the opinion that a VERY large sect of citizens are disappointed in our country's leadership.
I sense that there are many responsible citizens that believe in our fundemental "way of life" should be continued.
It appears that our leadership has been taken away by a money-hungry group leading us into a war for personal gain, our country is being taken over by illegal immigrants, & our social funds & economy are being destroyed be these actions.
So what do the responsible people who built this nation do during this crises?
They MOVE----?
They cannot espouse their true feelings for fear of reprisal---
They cannot change ANYTHING---
Out of " MILLIONS" of citizens in this country--there is not "ONE" politician who will offer them a choice!
NO politician will/can espouse their opinion, because it would be political suicide.
NO media source will address the problem--?
They all sound the same--The all offer some asinine approach to problems that I would surmise that most average citizens could come up with a better solution. The problems they address are for the most part, NOT problems we need to address!
WHERE is a person who has "principles that they will stand up for?
Surely, there is ONE person that still has the values that made this country great, that ascribes to the fundemental values of economics, fairness, & logic.
If you have priniples, stand up for them--if others do not support you--that is their perogative!
Where would a certain race be, had not Dr. King stood up for HIS principles, even though MANY opposed a lot of his views!
There is a saying--"you can run, but you cannot hide"--
Fleeing to the surburbs, abandoning your cities, is not a solution, because after they destroy the cities, they will soon find you also--
I guess like so many--I have no answer either--
It just seems to me that there would be ONE person--who has some intestinal fortitude !!!
Oh well, your views, if you choose--

A interesting thing occurred Halloween, so I will pass it on to fellow bloggers.
We had a hoarde of tricker-treaters come to our door, & my puppy was excited!
He constantly tried to get outside, but I restrained him.
One time as the door opened, He broke through & sped to the next house where He got in the candy line, & awaited his turn.
His endeavor was thwarted by my picking him up & returning him to the house.
It was kinda cute--seeing him " stand in line", & proceed in order----!

To be a american is more than "just partaking in the good life"!
With every indulgence you can receive, someone is responsible for making it available.
With every item produced, there is a cost.
Many Americans believe that this is a land of "milk & honey", free to all who can acquire it.
It is my belief that EACH of us has a responsibility to do ALL we can each day, to keep this nation strong.
I see more & more people getting on SSI--More & more people searching for every loophole to get a "free ride"---
Geez, WE are the government--when you cheat the government, you are cheating yourself, & others who bust their behind to keep the ball rolling!
It seems to be the theme in America that we are ALL so spoiled--We want what we want --NOW--regardless of the cost--regardless of the responsibility to be able to pay for it--
I see 20 yr old people --driving new Mercedes--living in 200,000.00 homes-wit all the amenities it sometimes takes people YEARS to acquire--
Then they lose their jobs, lose everything---?
The former president of Mexico said that this is a "land of opportunity, available to ALL who want to come here--and they are just taking advantage of the opportunity"!
??
Citizens of all races are breeding like rabbits--
Children used to be a "blessing", something thought of, & planned---now we have this MASS production where so many are born out of a accident--Too many productions without responsibility or means for their proper care--
This may not be good--??
It is a changing world---& MAYBE--not for the better-?
Time will tell---

There is a lot of uncertainty in world today, with all the problems we have.
As we have a mass influx of immigrants, a introduction into our business world of more "not so smart" people, A war that will devastate our economy when the debt comes in, a problem with energy prices, & the desire by everyone to "have it now". Other problems that I cannot think of most probably--
We hear about other countries having to ride buses, & THEIR financial system is "on the rocks". (Like China is having)
We have this increasing problem where people are having to take out 2nd mortgages to pay credit card bills, where people are having to use their savings, where they are using their 401 money, & one would surmise that things are "not so good in the world"!
The fact that the Feds are having to manipulate intererest rates is a "sign"--?
It is a fact that you can only "borrow from Peter to pay Paul"--just so long!
It is a possibility that before long, there will be a run on the banks for money that is not there---
It is a possibility that as financial institutions collapse, we will lose our jobs---
It is a posibility that our money will be like the peso---worthless---?
My question is this--What does the American citizen do to protect theirself?
Is it better to have your assts in "money" , OR is it better to have your assets in "goods" stored? (Food, furniture, household items?)--?
How do you "best" protect yourself, but still be able to function normally should this NOT happen--?
Is it not a good idea to have a couple of bicycles? (May be worth a LOT!?
I liken it to a hurricane--good to have items like generators, food, gas, flashlights, etc.?
If & when it happens, it may come fast--?
One good thing about it, is that other nations will probably incur it first, so we will see what is coming, giving us "some "time to prepare" IF we recognize it---?
Maybe I am being pesimistic, but I am just one who always looks ahead--?
Your thoughts, if you like?

I espoused these opinions almost a year ago.
I detest a negative doomsday opinion, but really feel we are headed in a bad direction.
I would think that "most people can relate to this situation" & a lot feel the same way--helpless!
We have the greatest country in the world, & we all just want to "do our thing" & contibute to our society, in the best way we can.
Most of us want to be christian, loving, & help our fellow man.
As we all try & have more personal possessions, a better life, there has to be limitations.
As business struggle to survive, they try & find loopholes, gigs, ways to increase sales.
They hire illegals at low wages, which deteriorates our service, even though this imposes severe hardships on the LEGAL citizen!
Accountants in both the government, & business sect "juggle the books" to show positive results.
Lawyers "utilize laws" to get favorable rulings for clients regardless of the effect on society.
"Robbing Peter to pay Paul" has already caught up with China, Japan, & other countries.
Our housing industry is NOW suffering from this initially, & "soon?" all business will feel the effects!
I feel the main problem is "our personal lack of fiscal management" & the INCREASE OF THE ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION"!
We try & be "christian" & ignore the problem.
It is MY feeling that our economy CANNOT accommodate this HUGE burden!
Our president has acted "TOTALLY IRRATIONALLY" in committing our focus on the mideast, instead of focusing it on our borders, where the DANGER EXISTS!
I originally thought that we could continue to "juggle" the problem for 5-10 more years, but it looks like it may occur sooner?
When everyone loses their homes, jobs, & we become a nation similar to Mexico's lower class, a primitive nation, where you will have to defend yourself in the streets with weapons--no home, no computer, no car, no schools, we may look back to "what once was"!
I hope I am wrong, but just as we have to ponder our own personal finances, we must look at our government finances!
More & more of us are utilizing "credit"--more & more of us are going bankrupt--more & more of us "are living the good life" with little regard to "paying for it"!
Someone "has" to pay for it--SOONER OR LATER!
All our politicians want to "accomodate everyone"--???
I liken this to a family--where parents make rules--& their children think they are "dictators"--BUT--they are successful!
If you let everyone "have it their way" soon a LOT of problems surface--?
Which "is the best"?
Interesting thoughts, I think---for us to ponder?
Thank you!

Bill O'Reilly was discussing the impact on the election by bloggers, on his Fox TV show, & said we are "blackmailers".
Since some may have missed it, I found it interesting & am just passing it on....
From his opinion, I got the idea that we will demand things, & the "funders" will listen to us, which he called blackmail. (If I have this wrong, you can correct me!)
He also said that the Democrats have a large sect, now blogging to control the blogging opinion.
I would think that bloggers could have a impact on a 3rd party, but I also believe that the blogging community is too split to effect the election to any major degree.. ?
A vety interesting accusation, by a prominent person, maybe....?
It has always been a problem for me that candidates are "bought" by lobbyists with their huge contributions!
This HAS to incur a "certain debt on the candidate" & maybe that is not good...?
Your thoughts if you like....

A short history of my opinion on this matter--
For 7 years, it has been my feeling that the oil companies have taken over the presidency, to invade Iraq, & enhance their profits, along with installing a VP who is CEO over a construction company, who, after WE pay to DESTROY Iraq, WE will get to PAY them to rebuild Iraq!
It seems awfully suspicious that soon after Bush was elected--gas shot up to $3.00 per gal., where it remained till the 2004 election when it went down--& soon thereafter it rose again IMMEDIATLY--?? Someone estimated that for every .10 a gal, they make $40,000.00 a DAY!
Just as in a homocide case, you may not have evidence--but if the butler is the HEIR--takes out a $1,000,000 insurance policy--and is the only one there at the murder--you can SURE make a case!!
NOW--
As the polls show that the republicans will LOSE the election, after this travesty--look for gas prices to SOAR--
I would not be surprised to see $4.00 a gal. near 2008!!
JUST--MAYBE--they will come up with SOME miracle--(like FINALLY finding Bin Laden)--to SHOW Americans they are "good guys"--& STILL maintain possession of the White House--???
They ALREADY--have more money than the treasury--& we will be paying them for YEARS---
Seems like now--they ALSO (along with their Saudi friends) have ALSO--got their OWN little DOMAIN--where they along with Haliburton, can have their OWN society-???
It is so sad--& YET--there are those that "STILL" BELIEVE their B.S.!!
Of course--since there are FEW other options--it REALLY makes NO difference WHO steals the money--WE still lose!
Well, "I" am going to fill up ALL the cars & cans--SOON--as it has already started upward!!
For you folks that work--drive a lot--good luck!!!
