Okay is it just me or do you just want to cringe when you hear these 3 words: Gas Mileage Tips.

Well I have a tip.. how about instead of surrendering and saying well we have to live with it lets just spend more money fixing up our cars, or getting new tires, or even buying a more efficient car as one guide put it for saving gas. How about we start protesting this multi-billionaire oil company.

I mean I almost swerved off the road when I saw the latest gas price sign. 3.65 cents for regular unleaded... are you serious!

I dont understand why with the economy like it is why gas got to shoot up like it is. The average household family is growing poorer while the oil companies continue to boom. I bet if we stop buying their stinking gas and ride a bike to work they will start to lower they're outrageous prices. Hell, I'm sure that the gas companies is still going to be able to eat and sleep in their big expensive houses if they maintain gas at 2.00 dollars a gallon. Lowering the gasses at least until people can get back on their feet should not take that much money from y'all greasy money hungry pockets.

I mean maybe a few thousand dollars worth.. but hell you still got a that 3-4 billion dollars in the bank to live off of. I say that this is just greed when gas cost more than the average minimum worker makes..

i'm with ya... hating the gas prices too. but i do think that we have to do things that are within our control to save money. (i'm not ruling out that protesting the prices because collectively the public might have an impact.) i do want to share with you something i just noticed. my trailblazer keeps a running average of mile per gallon for the life of the vehicle. i've got around 75,000 miles on it and the ave. mpg had been 16.1 for almost that whole time. but this year my hours changed and i don't sit in rush hour traffic anymore. i was amazed to see that in just 4 months the lifetime average mpg is now 17.7! i think that's an amazing improvement. to pull the average up that much that fast i must be getting about 24 mpg now... on a trailblazer! so just a message to people out there... if you can stay away from rush hour... you'll save yourself quite a bit.

I am with ya too. It's called ...............

G R E E D ! Most of the oil that we are buying comes from people who hate out guts and would rather see us dead. We are stuck. We are not allowed to expand our drilling. We have to get around. As soon as we get used to 4 dollar gas they will go for 5 and so on 6 ....7 .....when do we put our foot down?

The government regulates Public Utilities, It seems only logical that the government should regulate the price of gasoline. Congress and the President bailed out the airlines how about helping out the American people?

I am a lover of the written word. I enjoy expressing myself with the beauty of imagination. I am a 23, african american female whose dream is to change our society. It is not racial discrimination that I intend to change.. but the prejudice that society has toward the generation X and the mistakes we make. We need change..
