I had to rush back and write this blog after reading some of the other blogs on the Hillary and Obama race. Some people believe that they will vote for Mcclain before they allow Hillary as their president.

Guys some of you are voting for Clinton, while others seem to go for Barrack. We all know the intense fight that these two democratic nominees are in. They’re fighting each other like they belong to a the opposing party and that’s not very good seeing that we’re in a critical position and in need of the best person to save us from damnation.

However, we all know that we darn sure don’t need someone, a republican, going back into the white house trying to keep us in a war that is draining the hell out of America’s pockets. If we have to stay at war another 100 years… we won’t have an army, a marine, a air force, or a national guard. Because if we are constantly losing money, jobs, and homes who is going to be able to survive to reproduce potential army drafts. And if the current Army is over there they sure as hell won’t survive 100 years. Come on now America there is people overseas fighting for America who haven’t even ever seen their kids for God’s sake.

Hillary speaks about experience and experience counts when you look back and see that in the Clinton days… we had 8 years of peace and prosperity so don’t count her out yet when our economy was damn good while the Clinton administration was in office. Barrack says change, well that could be good too, but with that comes trial and error and I dont think we need much more error. So how do we solve this deliemma. Experience AND Change... Unity guys

I want someone who is going to get us OUT of Iraq. Whoever that is has my vote. I’m getting tired of the arguments and the fighting like Obama and Hilary are married or something. You guys are suppose to be family, two people believing in the same cause. So why are you slandering one another. A big disappointment is what you guys are beginning to be and will be if you cause America to vote you out for a republican who thinks that the war should go on.

Lets get together DEMOCRATs

From what I observe that you have written you have good common sense. But if you read all the things on both of the democratic candidates it will turn your stomach. Well the same for McCain as well!

1. During the Clinton years you stated were peaceful. Check a little futher. There were numerous conflicts we should have gotten involved in and Slick was too cowardly and had reduced our armed forces so we couldn't have protected our own borders. Bin-Laden could have been done away with when Clinton was in office. The World Trade Centers were targeted even then and he did NOTHING but blow smoke just like his wife.

2. The good economy was not due to Slick being in office. There was a Republican Congress keeping him from wasting and spending billions and billions of tax dollars on stupid crap.

3. The Muslim terrorist who flew the planes into the WTC's were being held and Slick allowed them to be freed. Because he didn't want to hurt someone's feelings.

4. The only experience Hillary has is looking the other way while Slick did every woman he could catch. She has no experience in leading anything. She blows more smoke up people's behind than even Slick Willie.

On Obama: His only desire is to rule the world and there are so many blacks that have faith in his slogan. "Change, we can believe in" can mean something none of America wants once it's gotten. Check him out as well. I don't mean listen to his Used Car Salesman spill on what he will do. Look at what he has done. Nothing!

1. He says he voted against the war in Iraq. Hell he wasn't even in office when that started.

2. Plus he supposedly is a christian. How can a christian sit for 20 years and listen to a supposed to be preacher tell his congregation how all of white Americans are bad and praise black extremeist who want to start another race war.

3. Also check his book on the Audacity of Hope. He states he will stand with the Muslim's if the political winds change. How American is that?

Now McCain: I don't have but one thing good to say about him. He is a veteran, that's it!

1. He was involved in writing the bill to give illegal aliens anmesty. Not good at all. Now he's at that again so Congress had best shut that down quickly.

2. You are correct about the war in Iraq. We should not be there at all since Bush used the terrorist attacks to have an excuse to jump on Saddam. But just quitting is no way to treat the people of Iraq who really do want a democracy. Iran would take over and then the whole world is screwed. Being there for 100 years, I don't think so. Someone needs to have the "balls" as you said to get that country's leaders together and give them the way it will be and don't make threats, make promises.

3. McCain has been in office way too long and has gotten use to his elaborate lifestyle just as all the other lifetime politicians.

IMO I have to go with McCain because Hillary wants power and Obama wants the world. Not much to choose from this election but having someone who has and will fight for America is my choice. Not people who want to give it away to Muslims or make us another Communist country. Plus their Universal Health Care is the biggest joke that's ever ben told!

Nice original post, and nice comments -- but who says we have to vote for McCain if we also don't like Clinton or Obama?
Principled conservatives are leaving the Republican Party in droves and we're willing to vote our conscience (which may mean not voting at all) rather than cast a ballot for the lesser of two evils as we did in 2000 and 2004. We're tired of the lies of the neocons, and if that means four years of Mao Tse Obama, then fine, we survived Carter we can bounce back.
The only way to ensure a McCain victory would be for Clinton to win the Dem nomination. We can survive four years of Obama, but will not tolerate a minute under another Clinton.

First of all, Clinton WANTED to go after Bin Laden, but the Republican CONGRESS wouldn't let him. My own senator, PHIL GRAMM told Clinton that Bin Ladin was NOT a threat, would NEVER be a threat, that Clinton would NEVER get approval to go after him, and that Bill should just shut the %$*^ up about him. I think that was in 1998, if I'm not mistaken.
Heck, if you want to blame SOMEONE for Bin Laden's power, blame Ronnie "Mommy" Reagan. He's the one who supplied OBL with the money and arms to fight Russia during the Afghanistan Russia war; who treated OBL like he treated Saddam Hussein at the time, as an ally. Plus, Ronnie granted mass amnesty to millions of illegals in 1986, contributing to the major problem we have now. And people think HE was a great president?!
I don't think GW is fully responsible for 9/11, and I admire him for how he brought the country together after 9/11..but he's still the village idiot..and it did happen on his watch. Remember..."The Buck Stops Here."
All that money was spent trying to find something to bust Clinton for, and all you get was he lied about a BJ in the Oval Office. Like it has never been done before (or since).
Yeesh.

When it comes to what we have on the table for our next boss man..
I don't like either McCain or Clinton. Too much time in Washington, a part of what government has become. Clinton has ties too close to Communism, McCain is just another GOP puppet/village idiot-only HE has a trophy wife with an addiction problem.

Obama makes me nervous too with his ties to Islam. I KNOW HE'S NOT MUSLIM, BUT THE TIES ARE THERE, AND THAT'S ENOUGHT TO MAKE ME NERVOUS!!! But he's young and he's relatively new in DC, so I think we will benefit from a fresh perspective. And like B-Vixen says, we can vote him out in 4 years if we don't like what he's done.

I am a lover of the written word. I enjoy expressing myself with the beauty of imagination. I am a 23, african american female whose dream is to change our society. It is not racial discrimination that I intend to change.. but the prejudice that society has toward the generation X and the mistakes we make. We need change..
