I was listening to Rush today and a question from a caller was asked about the new "global cooling" predictions made by the same scientists that were all about the global warming hoax. Now I never was a carbon footprint off setter, and nor will I ever support anyone who actually believes in Mr. Gores farce, but it is beginning to become such a big joke that I can't help myself but to blog about it! Global cooling now? Natural climate change? Does this not raise everyone's BS Flag? Rush made a comment that I actually made to my fiancé a couple months ago about the fact that Volcanoes expel more ash and "pollutants" into the atmosphere than humans ever could. I did some research and scientists "calculate" that humans expel 130 times more CO2 than every volcano in the world does in one year... there are over 1500 volcanoes around the world, putting out as much as 3.3 million tonnes/year of CO2 (http://volcanoes.usgs.gov/Hazards/What/VolGas/v
olgas.html) and other gases, and our scientists think we expel more than the volcanoes do? Sounds like they might be getting some funding from Al Gore! As long as there is something to be afraid of, people like Al Gore will be able to control the populations by using the fear of the unknown. I believe if you have enough money, you could probably tell everyone that there is some catastrophic event going to take place in the future- that is unless we act now by sending our money for Gore to plant a tree!
Here's how I see it going down- Since now it is global cooling, the Al Gore: Earth Hates Us Party will say that we need to go out and invest in Carbon On setting stocks. Every human should turn on all the light bulbs in our homes in hopes that the heat caused by the lights will in turn heat the atmosphere to a warmer appeal. Then since it will be getting cooler out, we need to invest in Emergency Kits that include thermal blankets and hypothermia treatments. Once this is all done we can now burn more fossil fuels to offset the cooling. We better all bundle up for the new Global Cooling trend, and maybe we should all start buying stocks in parkas and blankets ... I foresee them rising in the next few years!
You know, living in Hawaii for 3 years kind of gets you spoiled to the always beautiful weather, well, and the occasional rain that comes and goes in 5 minutes. Being back in Houston kinda ruined all that! I don't think I'll ever adjust back to the 40 degrees one day and 90 degrees the next, kind of weather patterns! Today is a beautiful, yet humid, 90 degrees out and the only water I can see is the brakish Houston ship channel... definitly won't be doing any body boarding any time soon. For now, I'm hoping the weather stays on track for a nice weekend!
Come on Al Gore, turn on your weather machine and save us all!
