Hard to keep up anymore, I mean, when did we go from 50 states to 48 states? Lots of coocoo whack-a-dos out there.

I for one believe he meant the words just as he spoke them! I refer to his book:
From Audacity of Hope: "I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction".

I don't think he has a prayer of a chance. Way too many references to Islam. It just won't die and now this? As a senator you know good and well there are only 50 states no matter how tired you are!

I have not read his book, but I have read and heard enough about the book to know he has Muslim ties and if Hamas would vote for him, what does that tell you?

i just find it odd that this isnt ALL over every news outlet. if this were "W" there would be all sorts of saturday night live "like" jokes.

Kind of like the words from his book are never spoken about in the media. Kind of like CNN was with Bill Clinton. The Clinton News Network never said a bad word about him.

All I know this is the scariest election I have ever witnessed in all my years. Kind of like the old song by Jerry Reed, "We get the shaft".

For all who honestly believe Mr. "magna cum laude from Havard" Obama does not know there are 50 states in the U.S.A you guys are being so shallow. I mean in some peoples eyes this guy can do no right, if he doesnt wear the flag pin he is being unpatriotic, if he does then he really does not want to wear it but feels he should. His pastor, his parents upbringing, his grandparents. What about John Hagee (McCain supporter) who says Hurricane Katrina was a punishment from GOD? What about Mrs. Sniper Fire's (I will vote for her if Obama doesnt get the nomination)pastor?..........Nothing......... Does she even go to church? What about "W" and his Mission Accomplished speech 5 years ago and we all know that nothing is finished business in that part of the world? What about these media people that I watch on a daily basis that stumble over there words and mispronounce
street and city names and the person who is in charge of putting a picture up to go with what the news anchor is talking about? I mean don't talk about birds and a panda bear is on the screen...I mean damn can a person be human?

As you stated,"This guy can do no right."
With all the negatives portrayed from being the son of a radical Muslim to attending a church for 20 years listening to an anti-American preacher to the wording of his book re:"I will stand with the Muslims should the political world shift in an ugly direction" is enough for even a 5th grader to say NO, NO, NO WAY will he get my support.
The only reason 90 percent of the black voters are supporting him is RACIAL. (period) and most of them don't consider him black with or without his fathers negroid features.

Your the son/daughter of your fathers beliefs and his fathers beliefs...Does that make you the same person they are?

"I will stand with the Muslims should the political world shift in an ugly direction"

(Have you read the book? Or at least the paragraph this quote came from. Or did you just get the quote and run with it) Like many many others you have spoke(typed) without putting in thought and went for the obvious and took this statement right out of context

To me he is saying that he will stand by a person that is being unfairly persecuted on the basis of religion (You know the way American Muslims were being treated after 9-11, with the funny stares and under the breathe talk).

There you go judging again...How do you know thats why they are voting for him? Maybe they like his issues? Maybe they feel its time for a change. Why are whites voting for him? Why are hispanics voting for him? Why is any race besides blacks voting for him? And most importantly why are the superdelegates voting for him?

There you go again "MOST of them don't consider him black with or without his fathers negroid features" ????? WHAT....How can you consider somebody black? Or any race for that matter. Thats something nobody can change.

upinsmoke,
"...can a person be human?" Well no, not when they are running for the President of the greatest country in the world! If he is so tired that he forgets a simple thing like how many states there are in the country he is running for, why does he, or anyone else for that matter, think that he is capable of running a country? He thinks he's tired right now? From what, riding around all day on a bus waving and shaking some hands, then giving a 30 minute speach that someone wrote for him? Give me a break, until he's stayed up for three days guarding gear or marched for 10 miles with a pack on his back he doesn't get any respect in my book! And if any one honestly believes that his "amazing, aw inspiring" speaches were written by him, then they are naive. And yes race is playing a big factor into it, whether you like to see it or not. Yes, white people and Hispanic people are voting for him too, but thats because they buy into his "I'm gonna make change happen" speaches. Listen to any other Democratic speace for the last hundred years, they all say that! We all know what Mr. Clinton changed... the ability to get away with cheating on your spouse. I never used to be political, but after serving my country and coming home to a load of BS, I decided it was about time. Right now there isn't a good canidate, but in these days, will there ever be again? If it's a white canidate, they'll say he/she is racist, if it's a women, they'll say all men are sexist if they don't vote for her and that she is getting special treatment, if it's a black canidate (Obama) they'll say he's
