Watching Fox news who had former Governor & Mayor Jesse Ventura on, stating that He would consider being a independant candidate.

He was furious that we "only have 2 candidates" (which is just ONE more than Russia or Castro!)

He made the point that When Lincoln ran, we had 3 parties, & have greatly progressed since that era!

There has been a LOT of comments that people would LIKE more options, as I SURELY would!

I LOVE his demeanor, He is EXACTLY what this nation needs, but I think He is a bit too uncouth, & macho!

It seems a good idea to have someone "stand up" to the elements that are destroying us, & leaders like Mexico's president.

Geez, why can't we get someone with his attitude that has some couth!

Though I probably have he advantage on you having seen the segment, whatcha think?

I saw him and heard him all this week and I agree with him 110%. I dont vote cause you have three parties, Rep, Dem, and Indep, but only a Rep or Dem can win and every person who says they vote Indep is told they are throwing away their vote cause it doesnt count.
If Jesse Ventura ran you bet I would be out there, not only voting but campaining for him too. That is saying a lot coming from me

He is kind of mouthy and has crazy ideas but he would be better than the 3 we now have trying to rule the Country. Wait, only 2 are trying to rule the Country the other one is trying to give it to the illegals.

Ventura doesn't show proof by the made up graphs, charts and statistics like Ross Perot whose work making them wasn't appreciated or probably not understood by the many.
Ventura comes out straight talk and thats the kind of leader we need to get us out of the mess both the Bushes put us in.
I would vote for Ventura in a heart beat and campaign for him too.
Jesse Ventura, the White House is yours for the asking.

..."the kind of leader we need to get us out of the mess both the Bushes put us in."

Ridiculous statement.

Love you like a brother, Skyder, but I have to agree with FYinfo on THAT statement!

I posted this blog, not seeing that dart had posted a similar one--sorry!

Though he represents a large segment of feelings, not sure He could win--?

I could not vote for someone who thinks 9/11 is a conspiracy. He can make all the sense you want to hear. But when he said 9/11 is a conspiracy, then I lost all respect for him.

Skyder.

Why don't you suggest an alternative to the debacle of contenders applying for the top job.
You may ridicule a comment but a comment ids better than a - Dah !!

ac55txstar-
Hmmm,
Where I wouldn't specifically state that, I would not at all be surprised!
There has been a LOT of speculation that this administration has went to great odds to achieve their goal on oil prices.
Creating a reason to pursue terrorists, is not illogical--?
Somethings you believe, but not good to reveal, should they be false, maybe!

I do believe that if we are around---in time, a LOT will be revealed about the last 8 years.
I personally think that Michael Moore & Ventura "may" be on the right track--?
Just some thoughts--

FYinfo... the reason I said it was a ridiculous statement is because regardless of how you feel, there were 8 years of Clinton in between the two Bush's, so how could we possibly be in a mess that the "two Bush's" put us in??? I know we are on opposite sides of the spectrum when it comes to our opinions on the repubs, and dems, but I still like to see your posts. The reason I didn't go into specifics on my post is because you and I have hashed that out before, my friend. I can name alternatives all day long, but if there is NO chance of that becoming a reality, then what's the point?

And AP... you know I respect your views as well, but certainly disagree with anyone who puts all the blame on the Bush's. Have we forgotten that the country wanted to impeach Clinton (first time since Nixon)???

Just a senior citizen who has a college degree, has been VERY successful in life because of a relationship with my God--
I can probably live out my life in a comfortable status, barring some horrendus social collapse!
I state my views, in hopes someone gets something out of them, & could care less what my detractors think!
I enjoy blogs with sensible, rational, logic, & hope to get something out of them myself--
If my stance seems arogant, I apologize, as I consider myself a humble person.
What I have learned, I feel confident in, & what others have learned, I hope to learn from.
May God bless--
