Holy cow. I don't really watch much football. I am basketball girl. I loves me some basketball. (Hi, Rockets!) BUT, the game yesterday between the Colts and the Patriots. This was an upsetting game if I ever saw one. Everyone at the sports bar we were at were all for the Colts except for a few in the corner. within the last 10 mintes of the game, the Colts blew it!

And can I say, a certain cable company was inundated with calls from upset clients because the game was not being shown at all. I mean hooray Texans and all, but phew was that a walking advertisement for sattelite?!

I say give everyone a chance to watch what they like. You will attract more clients that way. Although, we did give lots of business to a hole in the wall sports bar. Good for them.

Unfortunately, it wasn't up to the cable companies or even KHOU TV...it is an NFL rule that the local game must be shown as long as the game is sold out (which the Texans always are) So, we were victims of the schedule, but I agree it was a disappointment.

Oh I get that. On the no charge channel, bring on the Texans. I am talking more about a channel that you purchase in addition (*cough NFL Network *cough*) to the channel line-up so you can see the additional games and still not show the game. :)
