Wednesday I won tickets to Regina Specktor (Thanks myfoxhouston!!), but as I had planned to see Regina Specktor months ago, i didn't know that I would have my Algebra II midterm the following night. So I was wrecked all day trying to decide what to do!

 Study

rock out

study

rock out?

I decided on Studying. I think I am officially grown up.

Holy cow. I don't really watch much football. I am basketball girl. I loves me some basketball. (Hi, Rockets!) BUT, the game yesterday between the Colts and the Patriots. This was an upsetting game if I ever saw one. Everyone at the sports bar we were at were all for the Colts except for a few in the corner. within the last 10 mintes of the game, the Colts blew it!

And can I say, a certain cable company was inundated with calls from upset clients because the game was not being shown at all. I mean hooray Texans and all, but phew was that a walking advertisement for sattelite?!

I say give everyone a chance to watch what they like. You will attract more clients that way. Although, we did give lots of business to a hole in the wall sports bar. Good for them.

if it was safe for me to take pics and drive today I would have. It was flooded everywhere! My usual drive from work to home took over 30 minutes (which is usually a 15 minute drive). Streets were backed up. Back roads were flooded and my low car was not going to be a match for those waters.

Class was cancelled because of the weather too. I understand Professors not being able to make it and all but you would think there would be a better way to get notified, instead of driving to campus, parking, getting soaked while running inside, climbing the stairs, getting to the classroom and seeing a note on the door.

bah! So annoying is all.

I have for most of my life, prided myself on finding new and interesting music to enjoy. My musical tastes are if I had to put it in 1 catagory, it would be Indie, or Indie pop/rock.

Lock me a room with my iPod and I would stay entertained for weeks with artists such as:

Rufus Wainwright

Mates of State

Imogen Heap

Rilo Kiley

The Smiths

Margot and the Nuclear So and So's.

They Might Be Giants

Pastilla

and I could go on and on. I love to share my musical tastes with others. When I can introduce a person to this great music for the first time, I feel like I have shared a part of me. I define a huge part of myself in the music I enjoy. It is a hobby of mine.

So I share with you. take a moment and check these artists out. You won't be disappointed.

It's hard to narrow down my posts to a specific subject. I can title it anything I wish but when it comes to posting, I don't think my blogs are ever that specific.

Weather?

News?

Entertainment?

It's entertainment for me. But for you? It may be news. If I had a comment card to submit it would be this.

Don't box me in. I don't conform. I am my own person so, excuse me if this post is not appropriately catagorized.

Well now that I'm off my soapbox, I want to talk Wellness. The company I work for is striving for wellness. For you and for me. For everyone.

Without doing too much advertising, I am curious. How do you define wellness?

I had a blast chatting with all you guys yesterday morning! (Especially Tom ;)  a girl can dream lol) I never blog over here because I am constantly blogging on myspace and livejournal, but it's nice to have a different audience.

I thought it was a neat idea to have it as a piece on the morning news. It's amazing how many people converse on this website.
