No I'm just kidding.  can you imagine if i really did?  What a rush!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HAHAHA

Sorry but I am going to be harsh so brace yourselves.  Mexico is trying to go over the heads of the United States so that ANY Mexican citizen arrested in the U.S. can not receive the death penalty for crimes committed.  Sorry but if you commit the crime then you get the punishment.  However, I DID come up with a solution.

If Mexico wants these scumbags so badly then let them have ‘em.  Let them go back to Mexico and IF they EVER come back to the United States they will be shot!!!  That should not be harsh because Mexico takes illegals that come to their country from Central and South America down to the southern border of Mexico and shot them.  It’s a big deterrent that works for them.  So let’s take a page out of Mexico’s book.  What do you think?

I listen to 740AM all day long.  With the return of Michael Berry on Monday I heard that he went overseas and adopted a boy.  Congradulations to Michael for becoming a father but it got me to wondering, why not adopt an American boy?

I notice that a lot of people who want to adopt a child in up going overseas to do so.  What is wrong with American children?  Or is it the system that makes it difficult, looking at these children as cash cows for the system and not wanting to give them up?  What are your thoughts?

On Tuesday, May 20, 2008, in Harris County in Texas a jury of twelve made a grave mistake.  An illegal immigrant, Juan Quintero, was sentenced to life in prison for killing Houston Police Officer Rodney Johnson.  Juan Quintero has been deported once before for a sexual charge against a child.  When Quintero was arrested by Officer Johnson in 2006 he did not want to be deported again so he shot Officer Johnson.

Quintero confessed to the crime, showed Officers how he was able to shoot Officer Johnson and he did all of this without any remorse what so ever.  In Quintero’s eyes he did nothing wrong.  He killed a cop and that was a good thing in his eyes.

That morning Quintero felt something bad was going to happen so he grabbed a gun and stuck it down his pants.  That right there means he was up to no good.  Also that was the first law he broke that day.  Quintero did not have a concealed handgun license because he was an illegal.

Now Juan Quintero will get to be feed for free, clothed for free, sheltered for free, taught a trade for free, given an education for free, given medical care for free, and you and I get to pay the bill.  At the same time, we who obey the law get to work hard and suffer WITHOUT a good education, decent health care, basic shelter, healthy meals.  Is it any wonder why people turn to a life of crime, you get a better life than if you obey the law.

A police officer is a public servant and when a public servant is killed it is Capital Murder.  What these jurors have told EVERY public servant AND criminal is: GO AHEAD AND KILL A PUBLIC SERVANT, ALL THAT WILL HAPPEN IS YOU SERVE SOME TIME.

Why would ANY public servant want to continue with their job knowing that they will not be protected when they need it the most?  They put their lives on the line to protect the public and the public can not return the favor. It makes me sick.

Now with regards to the question of Bill Aires and Obama being “FRIENDLY” and why they are still friends I have this to say, Obama will not have to take the same Oath our service men and women take, I draw your attention to the line, “defend the Constitution of the United States against ALL enemies, foreign AND domestic.”  Since he does not HAVE to defend ALL enemies he can be friends with a man who admits he is a TERRORIST!!!

It has been mentioned about what should the legal of drinking be?  Then the topic turns to if you are old enough to die for your country at 18, why are you not old enough to drink?  I mean, you can go to another country and be able to drink.

But back at the birth of our country the legal age of adulthood was 14.  You were able to work and learn a trade and start a life of your own.  Now the age is 18, however, a 14yr old can be charged as an adult if the commit a crime.  Why is that?  Should the age be lowered back down to 14?  No it will never go back down to 14, yet some want to raise the age to 21.

The point is that some parents want to keep their kids as long as they can, if you raise the age then when do they become adults? How do you go about saying someone is an adult or not.

The adult age was raised to 18 to allow for a complete public education. Most teenagers complete high school around the age of 18 and now are ready to face the world on their own. Some go off to college, others join the work force, and those that are able, with the will and desire to do so, join the military.

What do you think the legal age of adulthood should be?

Sadly to say these are real.  With that in mind, WHAT COLOR CRAYON ARE YOU?

Skeasling got me going on this subject.  Our teachers SHOULD be this nation’s number one resource but they are treated the worst.  No matter where we are, if not for those honorable souls that choose to care and nurture OUR children this world would not be what it is today.

 

However, we treat our teachers badly.  We do not protect them when they need it and we leave them to fend for themselves when a little help could go a long way.  It was stated, and I agree teachers are more than teachers; they are counselors, shrinks, motivational speaker, policeman, friend, mother, father, and finally teacher.

 

Some parents think it is the job of the teacher to raise their kids and when they drop them off at school they are free of their children.  This is not the case.  A teacher can only do so much.  I am reminded of the beginning of a Garth Brooks song, The Change, which is listed below.  Teachers do so much good and we need to say thank you.

Am I A Racist???

 

Sadly my answer is YES!!!  I’m an advocate for the HUMAN race.  I hear all this crying, moaning, and groaning over POOR ME, I’M NOT WHITE SO THE WORLD IS NOT FAIR TO ME.  Get real!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I mean the world does not stop because someone was treated unfairly, LIFE is unfair.  I was once told by a wise young man that claims he will be the first black gay President and with his heart I believe he just might.  He told me, “It’s a game, learn the rules or get off the field.”  How true is that huh?

Life is unfair, but nothing WORTH having ever comes easy.  If you want it, FIGHT for it and be prepared to fight an uphill battle cause that is what it will be.  You have to learn how to play the game or the game will eat you up and spit you out.  The world is not equal, although most of us want it that way.  So if you want things to change start with yourself.

Here is my start.  When I started writing it is clear that my real name reveals I am of Latin decent, a Mexican if you will.  No one wanted to read my work.  I want my work read so I bent the rules by changing my name, which every here knows me as, MAX M. POWER.  Soon my work was being read.  I was getting noticed.

I went to see a local publisher here in Houston and the I was told that my work was really good but he would NEVER publish it under a white name.  Now correct me if I’m wrong but the point of printing books is to SELL books and if people like the material and are willing to buy it then where is the problem? Oh right, my name.  That is the truest form of racism.

Did I cry about it???  I know some of you would like to think I did, but instead I was true to my racist nature and got even.  I started my own self printing publishing, WRITING WITH POWER, and I print my own little projects, which many of you have heard me read from if you seen my interview with the lovely and talented Andrea Watkins.  I fought to get my work out there and it has paid off.

Now I have one book published, that I did not print myself, another collection of short stories on the way, and many more novels to come.  I have one booklet that is free of charge to anyone who wants it and I am now working on another.  I am going to start on a screen play from one of my short stories that everyone who has read it thinks it would make a great movie.  I could have cried and boo hooed my way around life but instead I fought.  So yea, I’m a racist, but deep down in side, aren’t we all, just a little bit.  Its okay to admit it, its human nature, its in our blood.  The TRUE difference though, is how we ACT on that.

WHAT A YEAR!!!  Did anyone else see the special that aired Sunday on the History Channel?  WOW!!!  and to think, I missed it by nine years.  What a powerful year.  I would love to have seen it for myself.  To those that were there, I salute you for the changes that were made.

Okay there are a few things that I just don’t get and maybe someone can explain it to me.  I work in a field that is governed by the State of Texas.  Everything we do has to done by State Guidelines.  So in this sense my hands are tied.  Now when you come to apply for a job you HAVE to fill out the application in front of me, this tells me you can read and write basic English, and no one else is allowed to fill it out for you.  When it comes time to take the STATE required test you ARE NOT allowed to have anyone else take the test for you either.  Sadly the test is simple enough as it is.

If you can not read the test because you can not see it and you refuse to wear your glasses then how are you to fill out the paperwork on a daily bases in the field?  Now with all this said, if you get to the next stage, FINGER PRINTS, it now comes down to what the FBI says.  They are very strict on how these cards are to be filled out.  If they are done wrong they will be rejected and returned causing for another $25 resubmit fee.  We do not do the fingerprints ourselves, we send you to HPD for that.  Here’s what I need explained to me: if YOU can not complete what is required by the State or FBI then why get mad at ME and throw things, cuss me out, and call me names?  I mean, by doing those things, do you think I’m just going to say WELCOME ABOARD, SCREW THE STATE!!!

No matter how many times I see it, it still amazes me every time.

Well here we go again.  Sad to say, I have been called up to my blogger duties of Bloggerville.  Seems that another cyber bully has emerged in my absence.  I don’t know why but I have to ask, WHAT IS THE POINT???  Is this how you get your rocks off?  Does this bring you some kind of thrill to terrorize others?  Seriously I would like to know.

I’m not going to name names this time but this person knows who they are.  I was nice about the subject before but come on, aren’t you tired of doing this little song and dance?  There are good people here on the blog and there are bad.  We are ALL entitled to our opinions but that does NOT give us the right to attack others just because they do not agree with our views.

This is one reason why I do not get political.  Yes politicians are in the public, as well as celebrities and as is stated in photography 101, IF YOU ARE IN THE PUBLIC YOU ARE FAIR GAME.  Just cause you are fair game does not mean you have to be shot at.  As a hunter I do not shoot the first thing that comes into my crosshairs nor do I have to shoot EVERYTHING that crosses my path either.

If you do not agree with someone then why beat the dead horse?  Just move on and live with it.  You are not going to change their mind and they are not going to change yours.  There is such a thing as civil disagreements and then there is just plain stupidity.  If a person clearly says, LEAVE ME ALONE, then be a human being and LEAVE THEM ALONE!!!  Only an animal goes after something they feel they have wounded.  Are you an animal going in for the kill?

Now there will be those that say, THIS IS JUST THE INTERNET, WHAT HARM CAN IT DO?  Well as a Private Investigator (PI) I can use the internet to FIND you, then what?  You do not have to be a PI to be able to do this.  Once you are found you can be followed, watched, harassed, and even terrorized.  Sad to say, the laws are written to PROTECT these pervs who do these things, these sadists who have to prey on others just to get a tinny ounce of pleasure.

I was taking some time away so that I could work on my novel but I answer to a higher calling, HONOR.  No I’m not blowing my own horn, and knowing this person like I do, he is going to say that I am butting my nose where it does not belong.  Well to that I have to say, when my FRIENDS ask for my help I am honor bound to provide whatever help and protection that I can.  I have been asked by more then one person to return and I am more than happy to help.  This person may even retort back to attacking me on a person level, to that I say, oh well, nothing I have not heard before.

In a perfect world we would ALL be able to live in peace but this is not a perfect world.  We are governed by our actions, and our actions are governed by our emotions.  Rule number one of any society, to have peace, you must prepare for WAR.  There are many levels of this and the most common is the battle of wits.  I refuse to play this game this time around.  All I am doing is trying to appeal to the Human Nature in us all, do not attack someone whom you know nothing about. 

TO KNOW ME IS TO LOVE ME is one of my favorite quotes because those seven words mean so much.  To truly know someone means you took the time out to get to know them and in turn they got to know you.  To KNOW someone is to give away pieces of yourself, and it is human nature that the only way to do so is through love.  That loves allows us to say things about one another in the heat of the moment that we know will be forgiven later.  It’s not done on purpose and when it is done both parties are sorry for it.  So if you do not know a person then you have no cause for attack.

PLEASE, let this madness end.  STOP the personal attacks.  If you do NOT agree with someone then walk away, do not continue a fight that no one will win.  I have done all I can do.  The rest is up to you.  While this was written to address a certain SOMEONE we all need to remember this.

The wonderful people at FOX allow us this avenue of communication because we all share at least one thing in common, we enjoy FOX.  Please do not abuse what we have been given.  The web masters have enough stress keeping this Bloggerville alive; do not add to that stress.  I will be sticking around Bloggerville until this block that I have developed disappears.
