What was your first car and how much did it cost to fill it up?  We all know bad things were done in that car so keep the stories clean while you are at it.  What is the most memorable thing that happened in that car?

A used 1994 Ford Tarus that I bought in 1997. It cost $20 to fill up and I had money left over to buy a 20oz Coke.

A 1969 Chevy Impala that had been handed down a few times!!! Blue on Blue have no clue how much it cost to fill up!! Nothing strange happened in it. Just remember parking it in front of boyfriends house when I went to school. He lived a block away.

I don't remember the year of the car, but it was a Mercury Comet. I don't remember how much it cost to fill up because it was such a lemon, I had to sell it for scrap. My second car was a used Mazda GLC (Great Little Car). I don't remember the year or how much it cost to fill that up either. I do have receipts I'm entering into Quicken from last year where gas was just over $2.00 a gallon. My third car was a Mazda 323 in 1986 or 1987, my first ever new car, and right after I paid it off, Jeff took it to the Park-n-Ride lot when I asked him not to go to work that day because the flooding looked bad. The lot flooded and the car was a total loss. Didn't get nearly as much as I should have because it had really low mileage and I could have sold it for more money than the insurance gave me. It took us until 2001 to buy a replacement car, my Honda Civic. We're about to replace the 1990 Toyota Corolla this year because it barely passed inspection this year and the car is being held together with duct tape.

A 1970 Pontiac Catalina 400, a four barrel carb and this think would boogie. It took about 11 dollars to fill that big tank. Most memoriable moment when I raced a police car and won. He was the one that wanted to race..I sure miss that car..some idiot stole it in that zoo called southwest Houston.

I started with an old, ugly, 75 Buick Limited. Don't remember how much it cost to fill up but being I was a poor student at the time, any cost was expensive. I swear to this day my parents gave me that car to keep me from wandering around too much. It was a great beach car though as we could load it down with goods and people and head on out.

The thing got about 11 mi/gallon, I shudder to think of what it would cost to drive now.

A 1969 Z/28 Camaro. My first tank of gas probably cost $6.40. My first ticket $35.00.

I started driving when I was 14, but received my first car upon graduating from high school three years later. Problem was, the car had a locking gas cap, my mom had the key, she left town, and my car was at the private school 200 miles from my hometown. Tired, hungry, and thirsty, I used a crowbar to rip off the cap, fueled up the tank (it was a 66 Impala), and let my younger brother drive it home bacause I had been up for three days and I needed to sleep.

A 1996 Dodge Avenger...high school graduation gift from my parents. Didnt cost me a dime to fill up. They paid my gas bill back then. Of course, gasoline was a buck a gallon.
