How's my driving?

You see those signs on the back of a lot of trucks "How's my driving" ? or "Report bad driving"....but do you? Do you call the number if that driver is doing something wrong on the road. Do you call 911 on the eratic or drunk driver?
Most of the street lights are back up and running, but there are several that are still out. I almost zoom through one near my home because it is so dark, I forget that it is there.
4-way stops.....did we forget how that works?? I have come across a few intersections where we don't play fair, it's all about "me next". Hopefully this will all be corrected soon. Thanks to those who work hard to make things happen
Airport Run

My husband on the freeway for more than three hours just for an airport run, not a calm sight!. My husband picked me up from the airport yesterday and it took more than 3 hours for the round trip.

Calif. -- Authorities say a 16-year-old girl who died after losing control of her car had been texting on her cell phone moments before the accident.
Kayla Preuss, of Highland, was driving on the Interstate 10 Freeway in Redlands when she lost control of her car and crashed. She died of head injuries.
Authorities say Preuss had been driving drunk and was speeding. But another factor may have contributed to the crash.
Phone records show Preuss was texting just before the accident. Her cell phone, which was flipped open, was found resting on the floorboard by her feet.
Preuss' mother Kelly said she hopes the accident will make other people think before texting and driving.

I know that I have asked this before, but I am still curious. How far is your morning commute? It takes me @15 minutes to get to work at 4 in the mornig. To me, it is perfect.
We are about to start something great here at Fox 26. " Commuter Check In". We are forming teams to give you updated commuter traffic conditions during you morning drive.
Do you drive on a freeway on a regular basis?
Do you have a hands free phone? (blue tooth)

How did some of you get your driver's licenses??? If you were judged on the way you drove yesterday, would you pass the test??
I found myself silently screaming at not one but 2 drivers who crossed over solid white lines in the roadway. Please refer back to some basic 101 rules of the road. "solid line....do not cross" Signal to change lanes.....then turn it off!!! Don't text and drive, I wish that van driver had a sticker on it asking "How's my driving?" When you drive with your phone on your right ear, you obstruct the view from you blind side...even more!! Merge, it's an action we should all know the meaning of...

Don Armstrong flew over the Katy freeway at Hwy 6 and found new concrete just for you on Hwy 6. Let me know if it makes your commute easier.

Where would you like to see the next light rail project?
I say, S Main coming out of Sugar Land. They are making vast improvements on S. Main should have just added the rail.
Are higher gas prices changing your summer travel plans? One of our reporters in on vacation this week. She had thought about changing her plans because she and her family were driving to Disney World. Well Micky was not going to stand for her not showing up. But the price of gas almost made her change her plans. If the price of gas continues to rise, will you change your travel plans?

Strange things on the roadway

What are some of the strangest things you have seen along the roadways?
I've seen furniture, shoes, clothing, tire treds (we've all seen those), pillows, rakes, brooms, washers, grills and more. This morning it was a pair of shoes and a mattress. How could you not know that you lost a mattress?
