July is a very busy month in my family. There is some sort of celebration every other day or so.
Mys husband's birthday in on the 2nd, a niece is on the 9th, one nephew on the 8th, my Daddy's and a 2nd nephew on the 10th, another nephew's birthday is on the 12th, my youngest son's birthday is today, the 14th, my best friend Jacquie is on the 17th. My aunt Mercy's birhtday is the 24th and our wedding anniversay is the 25th. And last but not least my neighbor Rahn's in on the 30th. We will eat enough cake and ice cream to last a year!
So, "Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy" to all of you who celebrate something.... during the month of July!
Ahhh, it's summer blockbuster movie time. What are you looking forward to seeing, or what have you seen that you would suggest?
Iron Man, my son thought it was great
Sex in the City ( I can live without, they slept/sleep with everyone)
Hancock - Will Smith, I will wait on the DVD
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull - Can't wait to see
How about you?
At any given time on Saturdays, you will find me and my family, in the ktichen...dancing!!! Doesn't matter what type or what time. My youngest usually makes fun of his father. "Come on do the robot dad"! My husband makes fun of our oldest son because at one time the only dance he knew was his version of break dancing. (he kept our floors clean). Me I am dancing and singing all the time, just ask my co-workers! So tell me:
What is your favorite dance and when is your favorite time to dance?

Ok, Purple Heart is on it's way to take aways all of the things we have that someone else could be making good use of. But I had trouble giving away the "t-shirts" How many t-shirts do you have? I was thinking about this as I cleaned out a couple of drawers and my husband went into the "black hole" that is our garage to pull out things to donate.
I asked a few folks here at work the t-shirt question and was surprised at their answers. One person said "4 or 5" the other said "maybe 6"! What??!! I collected that many in the last month.
I have a t-shirt from every conference, family reunion, fun run, vacation spot, class reunion and school that I have every been to. Believe it or not, I wear alot of them. But I was proud myself, I know that I gave away at least 40!!
How about you, do you have a t-shirt....collection?

Have you ever had to wear an ugly bridesmaid dress? (don't answer that randythib) "-)
Lanny did a story this morning about being able to use that bridesmaid dress....again!
I did wear an unusual one once, it wasn't ugly, but it was black. I was thinking what is she trying to say about her inpending marriage?? Hey, but 15 years later, they are still happily married.

A sign of friendship is going to a movie you have no interest in seeing with a friend who can't wait to see it. That was were I found myself as my friend and I went to the movies this weekend. We both agreed that seeing Halle Berry's new movie held no interest for either of us. After her "make me feel good" scene with Billy Bob in Monsters Ball my respect for her has......faded.
So we saw "Elizabeth". At first I didn't want to see it because I thought it would be too intense. I thought there would be lots of fighting, blood shed and scenes shot in dark dungens. The dark dugens were there, but the rest was great!!!
The costumes were awesome and I am sure that the designer will win and award.
I give the movies an 8.5
My Saturday morning movie... Why Did I Get Married? the new Tyler Perry Movie.
I love anything that Tyler Perry does......in my made up world he is my next husband!!
Love the movie no nude scenes, nor cursing! I give it a 9.
Eat it!!! Just Eat it!!

You bloggers have been great with the television trivia. So let's keep it going.
Today.....The Cosby Show.
Give me your best trivia questions.
What were the professions of the parents?
How many children did they have?
How long did the show run?
Who played Claire's parents?
What did Rudi call her best friend?
What was the nickname of Theo's best friend?
Which character went on to host her own show?
Remember, your questions first.
