What's on the grill for the 4th of July... Ribs?, Chicken? Brisket?

Have you noticed that each holiday has it own meat ? "-)

Easter- Ham

Memorial Day- Hotdogs

4th of July - Ribs

Thanksgiving -Turkey

Christmas - Goose

Be sure to slow cook it!

We're having our celebration on the 5th with a pool party and bbq. We have always had our party on the weekend closest to the 4th because my daughter's birthday is the 6th. We're preparing brisket, sausage and (I hope I can talk hub into it) chicken. We have baby back ribs in the freezer, but I don't think he wants to share those! We'll also have some hot dogs for the kids. Come on over on Saturday! Wear your swim suit and bring a towel!

Make mind a chicken leg!!
We spent our 4th with the in-laws in Sienna. The ribs, steak and chicken will have to be cooked today. Guess who is not cooking for the next week?!

WHOLE TILAPIA ( HEAD ON ) STUFFED WITH ONIONS , PARSLEY , TOMATO , CARROTS AND FISH SAUCE (PATIS) GRILLED LIKE MOMMA USED TO MAKE IT !!! SERVE WITH STEAMED RICE AND LIME WEDGES ... MMM THATS GOOD EATING .

Just returned from Louisiana today and I had chicken. My brother-in-law did ribs, burgers, hot dogs, and chicken. Yesterday, we had a fish-fry. Gosh, it was a wonderful and fun week-end!

we did pork chops and chicken on the grill for july 4th. someone (BRUCE) forgot to defrost the ribs. i do like grilled fish - tilapia (head off), catfish, swordfish, salmon, and tuna.
