OK Guys I have been really busy and I have accomplished alot!  Our Food Drive is being sponsored by some churches if that is what we want, and if we still want to feed the hungry then I also have somewhere to do that also. (The Humble Civic Center) I have received the rules for food preparation and they dont apply to what we are trying to do, so if everyone is still interested then LETS GET STARTED!!!!!  ANyone who wants or needs to get in touch with me with ideas and any other concerns I might have overlooked email me at tiamelonson@aol.com

Hey Guys!!!!

I was hoping we could start a food drive in September or October to feed families for the Holidays!!!  Everyone waits until November to do their food drive so I thought we could start earlier and get it organized and shipped out all over Houston and the entire viewing area!  Maybe even if we do the Food Drive we could get together cook and serve a Holiday Dinner.  Find a place and find a sponsor who could take care of the paperware (i.e. plates, drinks, plasticware)  Entertainment!!  Anyone know a GOOD BAND????

This could be so big and beneficial for the people of Houston!!!

Hey Guys!!!

Over the past few days I have had my little cousins (Girl, 6 and Boy,4) while their parents go off for a 2nd Honeymoon, well last night I sat us up in front of the T.V. with all the Nachos and Pizza and Chilli Dogs and then I started looking for a family show to watch.....I flipped and flipped and flipped all the channels.......OMG Family T.V. is EXTINCT!!!!!!! What happen to Family Matters or Step by Step or Cosby Show or Fresh Prince...Everything is so full of graphic violence and sex or its "Reality T.V." Only thing left was American Idol but its off until January. OMG those of you that have children.....what do you watch as a family...Have you been forced to buy DVD's???? Because thats what we had to do.....I have Comcast Cable and all those channels....is there one I missed that caters to the little ones??? Please let me know because I have them until Friday and the DVD's are getting old.....  I know every song of the Cheetah Girls and every Bob the Builder Song and the little boy just discovered Power Rangers

Hey Guys...

I have been married for 5 years.......... Well the other day I wanted to pull a practical joke on my husband and keep his phone and he keep mine so he could see what I deal with on a regular basis....Well needless to probably say, It backfired.....  He said it was an invasion of privacy...but we are married How much privacy do you need....especially with a cell phone????  Am I being paranoid or should I look further into this "practical joke" that could possibly be more....

Guys, was it really that much of an invasion....He goes thru my phone and email all the time...Whats the difference???  Does he have a valid argument?  Am I really wrong??

I liked that game we played yesterday and I started thinking that this is a good way for all of us to get to know each other so........I have decided that I would take a stab at it, and try to give us all a little more clarity to who we are talking too almost (if not) EVERYDAY!!!

Hello Everyone,

I have a problem... I have been seeing this Dr.  Roach and I have been having the same problem for about 4 months so I am asking her to tell me what it is and what I need to do but her answer to me was seek another Dr. because she has no clue and then she asks me to sign this memorandum that says I don't hold her liable for anything that might happen to me.  (So you know that scared me) Needless to say I didn't sign it. I have really good insurance so  I asked her just to run some tests because she has never done an ultrasound or taken blood... She has performed a pap smear and everything came out normal.... I dont know whats going on in my body but you would think that a Doctor would try to get to the bottom of it. Am I over reacting?  and Does anyone know a good Doctor?

I have a question.....See Randy and I are having trouble conceiving a child.....It's not him.......It's me!  What are some things we can do to make it easier to conceive?  I am going out of my mind!!!!  All of our Doctors are saying wait a while because we are so young.....Randy is 24 and I am 23 but we have been married 5 years, we are financially stable and we are ready, so if our doctors won't help, we need some friends and fellow bloggers to give us a little advice..........Thank You

Hi Guys......

Well I have another question.....I have been in conflict with a friend of mine who is getting married real soon and her she asked me a couple weeks ago......Should she take her husband's name.  I told her yes, but keep your maiden name too!!!  Just put the hyphen in there.  I got married when I was 18 and it sounded romantic to take Randy's last name but I REFUSED to let go of my Daddy's name!!! I am a "Daddy's Girl" so that was my way of showing my Daddy that I was still his little girl.....  But she says that morally that is wrong to keep his name.  I don't understand why?  Can someone help me?  I know its not traditional and my husband did give me some slack about it for along time, hell I still get slack about it now 5 years later.........What's wrong with keeping my maiden name?  Why should I have to give it up?..............

What is going on?  A friend of mine is looking for a job.  She has a degree in Economics and Education.  She is pretty well esteemed but she cannot find a job because she does not speak spanish... Every job wants her to be bilingual.  Is this fair?  The primary language here is English, so why ,in order to get a job, is it mandatory to know spanish?
