With an office there in houston I am grateful for the web Feed of the news.  Please hang in there.  As Weather gal Kristi will tell you we went through this in Central Florida in 2004....  Now the Gas stations HAVE to have electric Backup for pumps.  we didnt have the damage like Ike did, but living without power stinks.  I have Generators, hot plates and ten 5 gallon jerry cans for gas next time.  We flew stuff out like Generators and other things in our cargo plane and it was welcomed. 

We are with you all and from the looks at all the Out of State Redcross and Utilities, etc I hope it helps.

I lived in Houston when ALica hit so I hope all of you stay safe.   The authorites seem to be still dealing with morons who have to be rescued after not listening to warnings.  But maybe with the morning passing of the storm, these idiots MIGHT still be alive.

With business in Houston ( near Hwy 280 and Tidwell) we evacuated all employees and secured our building.  

I thought this storm could have hit Central Florida and one still may do so this year.  It isnt fun and I hate the loss of power and floods. 

Please be safe and dont do stupid things.  Many deaths occur from Stuck on Stupid people stunts or thinking.

Hope all you get is needed rain in Texas with the storm coming.  We are caught up in Floirda and could use a break actually.   But I recall a tropical storm flooded Houston a few years ago... so get prepared.... I dont want to see water lines.

Not sure when she starts but let me be the first to say that you are all getting  a great Kristi Powers, our Orlando Weather gal for your 5AM broadcast.    SHe will be missed here and being that I have business and a second home in Houston I will see her again.  But tell her hey, she is fantastic and accurate and one of the best Weather gals out there.

Weather Channel founder is sueing Al Gore for his Gobal Warming lies.

Here is the recent discovery that the snow cap is the largest in 40 years and the climate mess is indeed a clycle that has happened for 100000 years.  The lies you hear from the now Liberal agenda lead weather channel and CNN has no truth to it.

At the same time, we do have to clean up the air by getting rid of Car emmissons, Red Chinese Coal power plants, and other waste.  But to go on an Al Gore agenda that will hurt the nation is slowly appearing its head as lies and fear.  More in the article by experts not loony loser politians.
