As many of you are aware Michelle Obama is set to take the stage this evening at the Democratic National convention. Along with words like stylish, intelligent, wise and calculated some have called her a lightning rod. Most agree that they would like to learn more about Barack's other half. What is your impression so far and are you looking forward to learning more about the woman who could one day become America's next First Lady?

Hi there,
Okay, so remember I said that I loved Houston humidity and the effects it was having on my hair. Well, I may have spoke too soon. Monday I was having some serious hair issues. Mike and Tom keep telling me I haven't even gottten close to truly experiencing the full effect. And, Jose tells me there are times when the lenses on your glasses will start to get fogged up because of the humidity. One lady at my son's little league told me that the humidity will get so bad that you will have to run to your car to avoid getting sticky. Okay...so bring it on...What am I in for?

Hey guys,
If you watch the morning newscast you'll notice that we sometimes play music right after the commercial break as we are getting ready to tell you what your weather is going to look like. We usually do this during the 6 and 7 am hour. Do you enjoy it and is there any artist that you would like to hear more of?...I make no promises but I'll pass it along and maybe get your favorite tune on the air while you get ready to go to work.
By the way, I am still loving Houston. You guys Rock!

I was just watching a TV show and they were talking about Obama's former pastor. One of the host labeled him a "racist " but another host on the panel corrected her saying that the pastor "could not" be a racist because he was part of an oppressed group of people who was merely reacting to a racist system. What do you think...is racism exclusive to those who are the majority or in power?

As a parent, the Joshua Mauldin case is particularly disturbing. How do you feel about this case? Do you believe he is guilty, innocent or "innocent by reason of insanity" and what do you think is the proper punishment for his actions?

On Wednesday Sen. Clinton hinted at running on the same ticket as Sen. Obama, with her as President and him as Vice-President. What do you think about that? Are they stronger as a pair? And, if they were to run together who should take the lead?
