Ok, here is another one of those experiences that could only happen to me... I think... So, I am getting things put away at the loft. It's all about organization. I am tearing down the boxes, washing everything, dusting everything, doing laundry, working on flower arrangements and trying to find a way to incorporate feathers into them to bring the bar area and the living area together. It's a whole process thing... So I am standing in the livingroom area and I hear this duck quacking. I look at the TV and see no duck. I look out the window and see no duck. I open the front door and look down the hall and see no duck. Where the hell is this duck and why does it sound like it's in pain? I am trying to help. This is driving me crazy. I feel sad for the duck. I wonder if it has been hit by a car on the freeway and has been thrown to the roof of my building. I NEED to find this duck and save it... For 45 minutes I look for the duck. At this point I am sure it's somewhere close to my front door. Perhaps the people that live above or beneath me have an injured duck and they left it alone. I don't know.... I am on a duck hunting frenzy here and feel I am running out of time. Then.... All of a sudden... The quacking stops..... Silence~!  The duck died? I don't know.. I am beside myself.... I let this duck die, now I am sad.... I try to occupy my mind with the tasks at hand. I continue  on with my day.. I go to the dryer, get the towels out and fold them, then take the stuff out of the wash and put it in the dryer.... THERE THAT DAMN QUACKING IS AGAIN~!  I found the injured duck.... Although it was not a duck at all, it was Little Mans fluffy pink pig squeeky dog toy that somehow got thrown in with the wash. With each agitation of the washer, something pushed up against it making it squeek. I was going nuts... My day is complete now. What a great feeling it is to know I am not a duck murderer..I hope with all the craziness going on in todays news, this can add a little laughter to your day .. Welcome to a day in the life of Dawn~!
