What a day! After the hubs got home from work, Hubs, Little Man and I headed to First Colony Mall to meet some of the Fox gawds. We drove in the torrential rain to get there. I was white knuckling it the whole way. Then we got lost. We had not been in Sugarland in who knows how long so we couldn't find the mall. We finally found it.

We find the Fox 26 set up and immediately see The Diva herself. I introduce myself (Robin9223) and get a big hug from Erin.  Then Doug snuck up. Long time no see dude, we need to get margaritas again sometime. And get some rest.  We walked around a bit and finally find OmyGato. That was so cool to meet you and your hubs. Now I have a face to your name.  I met Damali and again got a warm welcome. It really is nice to see the news crews are just as excited to see us as we are of them. We took pictures, which I will post once the get ok'ed.  Then Melinda and Mike where there, and I got nervous. They are celebrities to me. Not that the rest of the crew aren't, but they are "anchors". LOL. So after standing off to the side for a little while, watching from a distance, my husband walks up and starts talking to Mike. Next thing I know, Mike and Melinda are excited that I am there and give me hugs and autographs. Melinda, I can not wait for Monday either. I will be in chat, as always.  Right before we decided to leave, I get a call from PBMom letting me know they are at the mall and are headed our way. PB, it sure was good to finally meet you and Patrick. He is a doll.

So that was our day. Like I said I will have the few pictures I took posted later. I would have had more but my battery died.

Introducing, my brand new, straight out of the "box", great nephew.  Baby Shaggy Cooper W#### was born on Tuesday afternoon.  The hubs and I stopped by to see him yesterday. He is soooo precious. I forgot how good it felt to hold such a tiny, adorable baby.

Are you kidding me? Dealers are putting lead flakes in marijuana to add to the weight?

Start looking those bags over folks. Hold it up to the light. I would think it would reflect in the light.

It's all my fault. I watched the game.

Normally I don't watch basketball, but I got caught up in all the excitement.

I have a question I am hoping someone can answer. When ex's don't pay their child support, they get in trouble with the attorney general, ie suspended liscence, end up paying fines and late fees. But what happens when their employer FORGETS to take out the child support they are ordered by the court to pay for their employee?

For the third month in a row, my ex's boss has forgotten to take out his child support and send it in to the state. My ex used to pay it on his own, with no problems, faithfully every month. Last summer I took him back to court to have the child support raised. While there, the attorney general decided to start having the employer garnish his wages for the child support, instead of my ex paying it himself. Nothing new, happens all the time. My hubs employer does it for him too.  But as I stated, the ex's employer keeps forgetting to do it.

So, according to the state, will the employer get in trouble for not doing what he is court ordered to do, or would they go after my ex because his child support is not being paid in a timely manner? Makes me wonder how many "dead beat dads" think their employer is paying it for them and turns out they aren't.

My twins just got home and told me there was a racial fight at Clear Creek. Black student hit white student in the head, fell to the ground and had siezure. Life Flight came out. Black student is in custody.

News guys, do y'all know anything more about it?

I think I got a call last week from someone using the spoof card. Someone called and asked for "Mary". My sister's name is Mary and she was living with us at the end of last year.  We have also had, what I call, attempted ID theft from the previous tenant of this house and her name is Mary also. After telling the caller that "Mary" doesn't live here anymore, I decided to call the number back to find out which Mary they where asking for. I got a recorded message saying that that number had been disconnected.  I was wondering how that could happen. Watching the news story about spoof cards explains it.
