Robin's Nest part deux

See that face? I just love that face.

That is my "Little Man". I recieved a letter in the mail the other day from his school letting me know he was nominated and accepted to The Art School for Children at UofH Clear Lake. "He shows an exceptional ability in the visual arts."  He starts on Sept 20th and goes for 8 weeks, every Saturday.

I'm sooooo proud!

I have heard a rumor that a bunch of the bloggers/chatters are meeting up at the mall this weekend when Fox goes to promote the new show. What time and where are we meeting? I plan on going to meet the news crew.

(If I am not seen online in the next few days, you can probably find me in lockup downtown for stalking that fine, gorgeous man)   LOL

I dozed off in the last 10 minutes of Hell's Kitchen....what happened??

This morning while getting ready for school, Twin A comes to me and tells me there is a message written in his tub. I go look and sure enough, someone engraved "help" in the soap scum in the bottom of the tub. He said he didn't do it. I forgot to ask Twin B. Little Man and Hubs said they didn't do it.

Creepy. I think someone is telling the boys it's time to clean their tub.

I think it's time to elect a new mayor.

ETA (edit to add)....I take it back. The mayor still rules. You Rock Randy!!

Ever since Comcast took over Time Warner, we have had problems with them. Atleast once a month I would have to call Comcast and tell them that they are NOT Comcastic due to outages. They would give me BS responses, like.."Oh we had a PPV fight last night and all the signals where jammed because of it." HUH?

So last week I switched to Direct TV. They claimed to have the most HD channels. They claim to be cheaper. So Thursday they came out and we have a lovely dish on the side of the house now. But, we have had problems with the equipment ever since.  The card in the box in the living room is bad and I am waiting for a new one to shipped out. Every 1/2 hour I have to reset the box. One of the twins kept loosing signal in his room. A tech came out yesterday to fix that. He said the switch went bad outside and replaced it.

I think I have called Direct's customer service, in 4 days, as many times as I called Comcast in the 6 months they have had control.

Now I am looking for another internet service so I can stop giving Comcast my money all together. I haven't been able to find anything to beat them in speed yet.

....still going to be a picnic next weekend? With all the name calling and threats lately, I have heard from several people that they aren't going to go now.  That is really sad. It's sad that ADULTS can't get along with out name calling. It's sad that we can't plan a get together without involving the police, whom I sure have more important things to do than babysit a bunch of ADULTS.

Thanks to certain individuals involved, regular bloggers are dropping like flies. My kids are better behaved than this. Come on now, how old is everyone?? I for one will not and can not stand for this. This used to be a great place to come to, to talk about the news and everyday life. Now it's a place to come see who is talking about who.

I am begining to think it's Fox's fault as much as it is ours. They need to monitor IP addresses better than this. They should only allow one blogger per IP address. I would say email addy, but email addy's are too easy to come by. I have been in forums,chats and what used to be called bulletin board chats for almost  15 years and have seen what terrible things people do to each other all for fun. It's a SICK individual that plays mind games on the internet with other people. I firmly believe that is what is happening now. But since no one other than Fox can prove it, we have to put up with certain people with "multiple personalities". 

So, to those who we think and are pretty damn sure have "multiple personalities"....go away. We don't want your kind here. We don't like playing these games, as you can tell.

If I am wrong about this, and FOX can PROVE it to us that we are wrong....I am very sorry. Please accept my apology. I will not apologize for anyone else. They should be man or woman enough to do that themselves.

As far as the picnic, I'm not going. I will not subject my family to the people that show up. I don't want to associate with certain people that may or may not show up. I will not go anywhere near the tension that will be flying all over that park, with everyone wondering if they are safe.

And that is sad. I have not been to a Fox gathering yet and really was looking forward to it. I really wanted to met Snoopy, Randy, PB, Steph (Skeasling), Casey, Lanny, Kenswife, Mik, Dread, Foe, and anyone that shows up. I guess that won't happen now. Thanks alot to whomever deserves my sarcastic remark. I am pissed off to no end right now.
