EVERYONE... this is probably one of the most single important websites I've featured. This goes BEYOND just saving you some cash. The guy who authors this site has been through the trenches of financial woes... and he's come out of it just by changing his life style and making smart decisions.

On this website... for free... he explains how people get in debt... and how they can get out.

He really is quite brilliant, but please ignore his one entry on "turning off the TV." ;-)

He has a list of "whys" not to watch TV. MTG, what shall you do?

In "Your Money Counts" by Howard Dayton he tells a story, I paraphrase here, of a major corporation building a manufacturing plant in a economically suppressed country. Within weeks of opening the workers stopped showing up; they had earned more money then they had to the point of several years’ wages. Talk about a learning curve.

The solution: introduce magazines into the community (television reception was non-existent.). The next step was catalog stores. Problem solved. People began to by previously unnecessary items and thus were separated from their cash.

Here, (U.S.) we pride ourselves on being independent thinkers we are so very easily manipulated to believe we need (deserve), we can (should) be or we are something (special) which we need not, should not or are not. Some call these conspiracy theories yet look around; I think it must be working.

Want to slow your spending? Keep your focus down the road and not distracted by those ugly billboards (sorry son). Oh, you will tend to eat, drink and smoke less as well.

A 15 year I know is trying to cash in on the billboard market. Already he knows the power of marketing and the desire for retailers and distributors to get our attention (money). From $300 per monh for a simple small sign to 10 Grand or more for the large lighted signs along Interstates.

MTG? Not to worry TEVO is here! ZAP those commercials! That is not good for you either. Oooo.
