...But its still your fault.

WOW!  Thats what my mom had to tell tonight.  Mind you this is the first time that my mother has EVER told me anything like that.  She's always looked at me through rose colored glasses.

My better half's in-laws are in town this week as we RUSH to finish this "oh-why-did-we-take-this-on" house. Notice I call them his in-laws, rather than my parents.  I absolutely hate to be stressed out, in a bad mood, and not have my mom telling me how right I am and how wrong everyone else is.  My dad, by the way, is as happy as lark.  Nothing ever bothers him.

I, on the other hand, am ready to lock myself in a closet and scream until my voice goes out.

But here's something to smile about.... My parents will celebrate their 34th Wedding Anniversary on July 27th!  Here's hoping Aaron and I get there someday....

as the baby of the family, i was always right.
me: "it all started when she hit me back first"
mom: "wendy, why did you hit your little brother back first?" LOL

CONGRATS to your parents on 34 years!
wishing you and your "better half" many happy years as well!

I bet your future in-laws realize what a big project you and Aaron took on in building the house and they understand how stressed you are wanting it DONE! Just remember don't rush it or you'll regret it from now until you get it redone!

Congratulations to your parents for 34 years of marriage. My wife and I have been married just over 41 years. I guess I'm like your dad as well but I do get stirred up and once there I take a long time to settle down. But I don't like my blood pressure to get up so I try to let things just slide off till I get enough! You and Aaron will make lots more than 34 years too. You and he have made it through the house thing so being married will be easy.

Texasex, I agree with you 100%, but when you spend a GOB of money going to a city you have NEVER wanted to go to in order to attend your baby sisters wedding and absolutely have a horrible time; then have your family tell you that you are full of it because you don't like that city when they love it... it's darn hard to like them!!
Love them, always....like them? Not right now I don't!

LOL.... Mom's are like that at times. It ticks you off, but then you realize she is only doing it because she loves you. Bessie Lou is so right and so is Mik! Hang in there. You will make it together for 34 years. Congratulations to your parents. That is a wonderful milestone.

I love Houston, but miss South Texas... ...Have a weakness for pasta and vinegar-soaked cucumbers made by my father-in-law's sister in Kansas or.... The Blue Onion in Weslaco (McAllen too!)...I absolutely love the outdoors, and can never resist a nap! And did I mention I found in Houston the most amazing "better half" I could have ever wished for? Besos!
