I spent the weekend at a girlfriends house.  Reason?  The better half bought a surveillance camera set so he can watch our house while construction wraps up.  But in order to get familiar with it...he had to set it up and test it out.

It was so creepy...knowing something is taping every move you make.  I have no idea how those reality show contestants live like that.  I packed a bag and got out! 

On the plus side...at least we'll know if someone makes themselves a little too confortable in our new home.

That is...if we ever get it done.

I may need to borrow it when you're done? When I went outside this morning the toolbox of my truck was open and it appears someone was getting ready to break in something else. What's so bad, we were at home. If I had been paying attention there would be less hoodlums on the street but the state would be paying for their funerals. I do not blame your significant other for wanting to keep watch on your stuff. It's not cheap and these worthless punks think it free for the taking.

You should be use to being on camera by now. I enjoy your reports and your blogs.

The other day, there was a six inch piece of masking tape on my car's passenger side headlight. I did not put it there. My husband said "kids in the neighborhood are messing with us." I want to know why. Some other things have occurred, too, and now I find myself awakening @ 3 am.

Hey Kristine start your own new reality show and sell it to Fox.

Tell them to air it right after American Idol to ensure great ratings.

I love Houston, but miss South Texas... ...Have a weakness for pasta and vinegar-soaked cucumbers made by my father-in-law's sister in Kansas or.... The Blue Onion in Weslaco (McAllen too!)...I absolutely love the outdoors, and can never resist a nap! And did I mention I found in Houston the most amazing "better half" I could have ever wished for? Besos!
