Angie and Jeffery were watching TV when a man wearing a bandana and carrying a pistol burst into their apartment. Police say he demanded money and the TV, then ordered the couple to disrobe. He watched Angie more closely. “He didn’t pay attention to me, so I charged at him,” Jeffery explained. As her husband struggled with the intruder, Angie ran to the bedroom and grabbed her pistol.” I refused to be a victim,”Angie said.” he put a gun in my face.If your bold enough to do that you’re bold enough to shoot us.”Angie stepped back into the living room and fired, killing the intruder. (Houston Chronicle, Houston Texas, 03/28/08). Intruders need to know people will protect themselves and their families.

2nd Amendment, protector of the rest.

From those who study criminals, criminals state time and again that the thing they fear most is an armed homeowner.

When the Cold War was ended, U.S. Generals and other DOD staff went to Russia to study their military. When asked why Russia had not attempted an invasion of the U.S.? Two words-armed homeowner.

Pound for pound, there is no soldier more heavily armed or more motivated than the American homeowner.

Great blog!! Any person who defends their life and property should get a medal. Especially when they kill the worthless piece of BLEEP who invaded their home. Now we won't have to support their sorry butt for 10-15 years!

I am also a armed homeowner. I have enough to stop a couple of platoons if need be. Whether it be someone from our Country or another Country. If I point the weapon at you then give your soul to God because your behind is mine. You won't make it from the yard.

I actually wanted to clap when I read this blog.I am always happy to hear about someone coming out on top in a situation like the one desribed in the blog. There is so much negative BLEEP that it makes my day to hear of a woman none the less taking action against evil and winning. Not to be crude but I heard a story about an old black woman who was being attacked by a young man, well the old woman put an indian rope burn in a place where He didn't want an indian ropeburn .If You know what i mean.Funny huh just thought I'd share that.

It’s being proven by statistics than gun banned cities/states have a higher rate of crime. I personally will vote that hard working citizens will be allowed to protect themselves, and I ask everyone to do the same. Guns are under fire by politicians who want to disarm it’s citizens.

Responsible citizens have not only the right to own a firearm but an obligation to protect their family. We also can do our part to help lighten our prison overcrowding. Dead thugs don't go to the slammer.

people are waaaay to trigger happy these days. i'm shocked at the blatant pride of murder. in my opinion, if this country had more control of weapons, neither the intruder nor the homeowner would have had a gun.

what ocean have you been to in texas?

and you own a gun?

“Randy, if this country had more control of weapons, neither intruder nor homeowner would own a gun.” Wow trust me the victim will be the one with no way to protect them, criminals will always have guns if they choose don’t be fooled by falsities that Banning guns will create less crime.
