Angie and Jeffery were watching TV when a man wearing a bandana and carrying a pistol burst into their apartment. Police say he demanded money and the TV, then ordered the couple to disrobe. He watched Angie more closely. “He didn’t pay attention to me, so I charged at him,” Jeffery explained. As her husband struggled with the intruder, Angie ran to the bedroom and grabbed her pistol.” I refused to be a victim,”Angie said.” he put a gun in my face.If your bold enough to do that you’re bold enough to shoot us.”Angie stepped back into the living room and fired, killing the intruder. (Houston Chronicle, Houston Texas, 03/28/08). Intruders need to know people will protect themselves and their families.

Have you thought what you might do if you were a victim of a bad storm or automobile accident. I guess what I’m asking is, is your faith in God strong enough to endure any tragedy that comes your way? I asked myself if I were put to the test would I hold strong to faith? I would. Now if I were to be faced with death, or if the life of a loved one would depend on my denial of Christ would I deny my lord and savior, tough question huh? Every day Christians somewhere are put to that very test of faith and they die for Jesus. Would you?
Something to think about.

Super delegates, what and who are they? I don’t know. Do you? I’m not well read in politics, I know we have an electoral college, and we have Delegates/Pledged delegates who pledge a vote to a presidential hopefull, and now we have a super delegate and they aren’t tied to an obligated vote. Now what I want to know is where do I the voter fit in? What next super dynamic delegates? How much power do super delegates hold? And from what I’ve read we are coming real close to Government voting in Government scary huh? Are these super delegates going against the constitution? Here is a list of some of those super delegates
Super-delegates (approximately 850 in 2008) include the following:
- Elected members of the Democratic National Committee (~450)
- Democratic Governors
- Democratic US Senators and US Representatives (including non-voting delegates)
- Distinguished party leaders (current and former Presidents and Vice Presidents; former Democratic leaders of the Senate and House; former DNC chairmen)
- Unpledged "add-on's" chosen by the DNC

I don't understand why the media uses "Uneducated" every time they talk about the rural demographic. Does the urban inner city demographic not have uneducated voters? I find these breakdowns very insulting. Studies show that uneducated voters are irrational and are less inclined to vote, and educated voters are more likely to research their vote.
I just think uneducated is the wrong word to use. The most important factor in voter turnout is education; but one can't assume the most educated voters have the highest IQ scores. (Let’s not forget that Abraham Lincoln had less than a year of formal education.)
So what is the great plan for all this ridiculous stereotyping?

More than anything I dislike when a Politician uses God only for his political agenda. Does a politician have to prove himself a Christian, or should it reflect in the character of the person by his actions? I’ve seen now more than before the Christ card being played in politics and it bothers me; beware of this kind of deception and trickery.
Now Obama has decided to prove his Christianity, Hmmm well I believe Obama to be a Christian man but I also believe he has no respect for America and does not respect our countries heritage and the history or the people who have died to give us our freedoms. His action early on in his campaign when controversy showed Obama not wanting to take part in the National Anthem bothered me, to have disrespect for our country was despicable. What kind of candidate chooses to ignore patriotic gesture? But what does it mean if you consciously avoid this gesture at a campaign event while you are running for president of the United States? If you wanted to be president, wouldn't you give proper respect to that country?
This has happened – and not just once – to Mr. Obama. Our job is to figure out how much it matters. We all can decide for ourselves whether this is a big deal or not. It is to me.
I may not agree with how this country is being run I still respect all those who have fought and died for this Great country. I understood Obama more When I realized he tithed with the church of Wright, after seeing how Obama listen for years to a so called man of God who spewed hate for this country it scares the He11 out of me.
It is sad and unfortunate that this man Obama followed the teaching of a man Mr. Wright I’ve never heard such preaching of hate and disrespect ,from a man who pretends to be a man of God and I’ve been a part of many churches and of all color.

My title is a Quote from a fellow blogger. This one hit home for me. The toxic FEMA trailers issued to Hurricane Katrina survivors are contaminated with formaldehyde.
I read this the other day wow what a mess. Fema what a joke this makes me so mad how can we be safe from our own Government. How many kids have and are being harm by a Government who only cares about their power, and creating a broken down Department run by a bunch of losers like the department of Fema. How does this happen?

The true origin of Christmas is filled with controversy and compromise. In short, the Christmas holiday we celebrate today is indicative of Christianity's willingness to absorb the world's customs and traditions, and forget its simple roots in the historical reality of Jesus Christ. Christmas should be nothing more than a simple, yet wonderful reminder of Christ's humble beginning as a human child in this world. His birth merely set the stage for the power, glory, and salvation that would be revealed in His life, death, and resurrection! Whether it's December 25th, sometime in late September, or any other day of the year, we should use each and every opportunity to reflect on Jesus Christ and His message of hope for all of us.
For today's Christian, the origin of Christmas is, and should be, the birth of Jesus Christ as recorded in the Bible. Nothing more and nothing less. However, most of what we witness on December 25th each year has absolutely nothing to do with that blessed day,
So for those who try to destroy Christmas the joke is on them all they accomplish is Christians realizing the true meaning of Christmas and a coming closer to God and further away from the commercialism of the Holiday.

In the wake of the high-profile indictment of Michael Vick, the nation has been awakened to the cruelty of animal fighting. Members of Congress, corporate leaders, and people like you are speaking out. And Louisiana and New Mexico enacted laws this year to outlaw cockfighting -- the last two states to join the fold.
Online retailer Amazon is now in the lonely position of promoting animal fighting activities. It's the only online retailer of subscriptions to animal fighting magazines in the United States, and these magazines advertise the sale of fighting animals and cockfighting weapons -- sales made illegal by federal law! The Feathered Warrior even advertised fighting dogs from a dogfighter whose operation makes the enterprise described in the Michael Vick indictment look like a bunch of amateurs.
This nonsense from Amazon must stop -- tell them so right now.
Push this article and boycott Amazon and any company that promotes cruelty to animals.

Let me ask this what does Winter Holiday mean? I am under the understanding it is a politically correct way of expressing Christmas Hmmmm! We are coming up on the holidays that we as Americans know as religious Holidays do you agree? My question is are Christians getting a fair shake or does it matter that our beliefs are somehow being changed. I know there is a push for other religions in our schools fine with me we have that freedom or do we?
What exactly does our freedom of religion mean? I don’t know. I do know however if I go into parts of the world I can speak of Christianity in certain areas but not in all, although our country allows you to bring in your beliefs into our schools such as we have as Americans the Winter Holiday, Muslims have Rhamadan, Jewish people have Haunika, I guess what I’m asking is where is God in our Christian faith has it some how become all about Santa or Winter? Were Jesus our Greatest Gift I don’t hear his name? Does our country truly allow freedom equally?
