The Houston Japanese festival will be Saturday April 5 & Sunday April 6th.  I attend this thing every year and hope to see you guys there.  My Avitar pic is one of the ponto bridges from the garden as Andrea "The Glam" Watkins will attest. Just playin' with ya Andrea.  I wonder if they'll have okonomiyaki (my favorite food on the planet)this year. :-)  *Arrigatoo gozaimasu,  ni otono shimi ni! Jana!

Why did I mention my wife, cause she LOVES okinomiyaki!!! Has it for her birthday every year. I hate the stuff. House smells of fried cabbage for a week. You two can have lunch on me tomorrow.
Are you going in the mornings, or afternoon?

I'll be there tomorrow afternoon Lanny. It's ironic that your wife has okonomiyaki every year on her birthday...I have it every year on MY birthday! I make my own occasionally. My BEST so far was a lobster/shrimp/crawfish okonomiyaki. It was an experience.

I didn't get your message until Sunday PM. I was looking for you ALL DAY Saturday. I went by the Chiba booth briefly but didn't stay to chat. Lamentably there wasn't anyone there selling okonomiyaki and I got some yakisoba instead. :-( It was alright...but nothing to write home about. A really cool older lady let me try playing her shamisen...it was cool. HOPEFULLY I'll see you at next year's festival.

Otono shimi ni niisan!

I love movies, football (go Texans!) cooking, reading, anime and getting my "news Jones" on. I read Associated Press, Reuters, UPI and the BBC when I get a chance and have been watching Fox news since Fran Fawcett (Farah's sister) was an anchor. I love the morning news and Pattie is just too cuddly-sexy-cute not to be my favorite.
