Hi folks, I didn't fall off the map or get washed away by any of the storms. I've been home trying to gather strength to start school again this semester. I'm only taking two courses and I have to go to the teachers I dropped last year and see if they will let me open back the classes I took the F in (I didn't complete the incompletes when I dropped) and that may have to keep me going without writing.

Be assured, I'm still a Fox26 fan, I wake up every morning and watch, even when studying.

I'll try to write some updates as time goes.

Thanks Andrea.

Fun part of it is, like my husband noticed yesterday when we went to the UC bookstore to get one of my textbooks, all of the students he was seeing were half of our age or more. I'm the "oldest living student" in my classes again this semester. My grandkids, 4 out of 6 who are in school this year (7th grade, 2nd grade, and two kindergarteners) think it's cool that Grandma is in "big school" and having homework too. One of my kids is in college as well, three more classes and he has his Associates in Programming. His kids are the 2nd and one of the kindergarteners and they think it's cool that Dad and Grandma are going to school.

I'm very happily married for 15 years to Bruce, the best man in the world. I have been going to school at UH but had to stop for awhile to get well, I have fibromyalgia, epilepsy, and myofascial pain syndrome and I need to get to feeling better to tackle the last few hours of my bachelors in history. I'm also Wiccan, I've been Wiccan for 15 years now. I'm the founding Elder High Priestess of Sea Myst Moon, a coven in the southern Houston area. My faith, and its guiding principle of "as it harm none, do what you will" is an intragal part of my life. All things interest me, I read a lot, mainly history and Texas history, as well as religion.
